Over seventy four thousand people attended Day five of the Boxing Day Test. It surpasses the record set in nineteen thirty seven when Sir Donald Bradman faced England at the same venue. A four year old boy has died after being hit by a car in Sydney's West. The child was struck by a car at Northston Mary's just after midday. He died on route to hospital. A twenty eight year old man was taken to the Pean Hospital for mandatory testing. A man's been charged over a daylight shooting in Sydney's Southwest. Police and neighbors attempted to save thirty one year old David Coup after he was shot in a targeted attack in Canley Heights. A thirty three year old man allegedly inside the getaway car has been charged with being an accessory to murder. He's facing court today. Major capital cities are continuing to record high petrol prices and motorists are feeling the pain at the pump. The NRMA is demanding the a triple C review fuel cycles which are pushing our prices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
