The Two Dogs PodcastThe Two Dogs Podcast

Mick Egan and Mick McKenna

View descriptionShare

The late seventies were a trying time for everyone involved with the Bulldogs, as success was very hard to achieve. Supporters were craving another premiership and a talented and dedicated group of players was slogging it out for little reward in the win-loss column. Inside the inner sanctum there was justifiable optimism, as a core group of players was building the platform for future success. Michael Egan and Michael McKenna were two who earned their chance to don the red, white and blue, rising through the under 19s and reserves to become key members of the emerging Bulldogs team. Egan chalked up 128 games and McKenna 80 before both departed the kennel in less than happy circumstances. The two Micks remember the good and bad times of their years at the club and share those memories warts and all in this episode of the podcast.
