Earlier this year, Chitra, a songwriter from Melbourne, released a single called Big Shot. A big, bruising indie rock pop track, it’s quickly become one of our most played songs of the year. And now, there’s plenty more where that came from.

Chitra has just released her debut album, 'You Can See It When It’s Dark'. It’s a brilliant record, full of wonderfully drawn indie rock tracks. 

Chitra, a sharp, deft songwriter, has a real ear for hooks, which comes to the fore on this album.
