After a segment we did about public drug use, listener Marguerite in Lacey wrote in to share this: 

“My mom died 8 months into my addiction, 3 months later my Son was sexually assaulted, 4 months after that my daughter was attacked by 1 of my dealers, a few days later my kids went into foster care & NONE of that got me clean, I even went to jail for the 1st time ever, it wasn't until the day I was supposed to go to treatment & my Dad told me that if I didn't go, I'd be dead to him!!! Being Daddy's little girl my entire life THAT WAS IT, THAT was MY rock bottom. That was September 30th 2005. I have been clean since October 1st 2005. Everyone's rock bottom is different. When my Dad died in 2011, he told me how proud he was of me & that he was comfortable dying, knowing that I'd never go back to that again!!!I Pray for those that haven't figured it out yet. Thanks for letting me share part of my story.”
