Vice President J.D. Vance spoke in Athens, Georgia the other day. It was billed as a Turning Point USA gathering. The arena could seat more than 8,000 people. But only 1,500 people showed up. And the Legacy Media did not hesitate to show the rows and rows of empty seats. It was especially odd seeing how Georgia is a red state and college students especially have been drawn to the America First movement. So, why were there so many empty seats when Vice President Vance was the star attraction?

Last week David Axelrod, Obama's former senior advisor and a longtime Democrat strategist met with Pope Leo XIV. Days later, Pope Leo is publicly attacking President Trump. 

And on Sunday three cardinals appeared on 60 Minutes to rebuke the president's immigration policies. I don't believe in coincidences. The pope has weaponized the Catholic Church to advance an agenda that promotes open borders and illegal immigration. They have also chosen sides in the Iran war. The pope has been blasting President Trump’s policies since 2025. He's using the pulpit to play politics. And when President Trump finally pushed back - the pope played the victim card.

I’m actually impressed that President Trump held his tongue for as long as he did. But he’s right – Pope Leo is soft on crime and he’s also a very liberal pontiff. 

This is nothing more than a coordinated attack on the president of the United States by the Vatican. And quite frankly, it is both distasteful, uncharitable and un-Christian.
