The new company, called Skydance, will be home to dozens of TV networks and two major subscription streaming services, Paramount+ and HBO Max, and will be led by David Ellison and Ynon Kreiz as co-chief executive officers.

The purchase will boost Uber’s food delivery business, which makes up about nearly half of the company’s overall gross bookings. ezCater generated over $2.5 billion in gross bookings over the trailing 12 months and works with more than 140,000 restaurants nationwide.

The agreement will add 890 megawatts of new reactor capacity and the electricity will start arriving on the grid as soon as 2028. The deal is part of a trend of tech companies investing in nuclear energy to support their operations, with other companies such as Amazon.com Inc., Walmart Inc., and Microsoft Corp. also signing agreements with Constellation and other nuclear power producers.
