Microsoft plans to more than triple its data center capacity to help overcome a computing shortage that has forced it to turn away some AI and cloud business. The company's data center capacity will have more than 38 gigawatts of capacity in 2032, up from about 12 gigawatts now, according to people familiar with the plans.
- Amanda Gordon, Bloomberg Wealth Reporter discusses the changes in downtown Manhattan after 9/11. Lower Manhattan has evolved from a business district that largely emptied out after work into a hub for housing, culture and nightlife, with the population more than doubling since 9/11. The area has added almost 25,000 residential units since 9/11, and its workforce has diversified, with financial services now representing 25% of downtown's occupied space.
