President Cyril Ramaphosa over the weekend issued a stern warning to John Steenhuizen, who is leader of the Democratic Alliance and Minister of Agriculture saying that any withdrawal from the inter-ministerial committee (IMC) on the national dialogue will be treated as insubordination. The DA announced their withdrawal from the process last month following Ramaphosa’s firing of Andrew Whitfield as Deputy Minister for Trade, Industry and Competition.
