Yesterday (Tuesday), Patriotic Alliance leader and newly appointed Sport, Arts and Culture Minister Gayton McKenzie announced that the government will no longer be financing trips for sports super-fans. Mckenzie took to X to announce his decision saying that the department will use the money where it’s needed the most. Last week Public works minister Dean Macpherson said that he wants to curtail spending on cabinet members' government homes and offices. At the back of this, we thought to look at what else this new government should be looking at cutting? Blue lights motorcades, state-sponsored funerals are also some of the concerns that have been raised in the public domain for many years. What else would you as citizens of the country want to see cut?
