As we continue to track the year of elections, we take a moment to reflect on the latest developments in one of the largest election processes this year: the United States of America. With the elections just days away, some Americans view immigration and the economy as part of their top five policy issues. Citizens want to see decline of immigrants coming into the country. There is little consensus on whether that be articulated as a restrictive policy imperative that includes domestic deportation operations or if it should reflect infrastructure support to help neighboring countries to prevent a mass exodus to the USA. Citizens are also concerned about the state the economy whether it be taxes, jobs and protection measures on imported goods have become central to what may sway undecided voters.
