Examining the findings of a book called: Development, Social Policy and Community: Lessons from Below. The research reveals that poverty is felt by almost everyone in the area, as everyone is trying hard to survive and it also indicates a high rate of symptoms of depression and anxiety among women caregivers in Doornkop, at 43%.
