The country’s political landscape has been characterised by economic challenges, governance, and malfeasance issues, electoral preparations amongst other things against the backdrop of the persisting wars in Europe and the middle East. Looking ahead, projections for 2024 hint at more defining moments as the country heads to the national elections and the country equally celebrates 30 years of democracy.
