As the political parties are meeting behind the scene to come up with plans aimed at taking the country forward, many people in the country are trying to imagine the type of government that will work for all of us. Many of you have been giving your opinions on the show indicating what sort of coalition government partners you would like to see and shared your concerns. In the past 48 hours, we have seen tripartite alliance partners (SACP & COSATU) share their concerns surrounding specific coalition partners.

So this morning we focus on the various scenarios that could best create a government that can be pleasing for all South Africans. In this panel, we look at how national planning and scenario forecasting is affected by major events such as election outcomes and whether it re-inforces our  development trajectory or lays a new pathway ahead.
