#MunicipalWatch: What has happened since the last interview?

View descriptionShare

On the 11th of April this year, we spoke about the AmaGqunukwebe traditional community about the lack of service delivery in their area. They felt ignored by the local and provincial government as no services are rendered to them. So we then had a discussion with them, and some of the representatives from both the Raymond Mhlaba Local Municipality and the Provincial Department of Transport to try and find out what is happening on the ground. Lot’s of promises were made, but the community members have since gotten back to us telling us that not much has changed since the discussion.

Guest: Nomfundo Mpuntsha - Community member who have raised concerns on service delivery issues and petitioned provincial government

Guest: Monde Manga – Chief Engineer in the Eastern Cape Department of Transport
