Marikana massacre, where are we regarding compensation?

As we continue our commemoration of Women's Month, we unpack an open letter that has been written to the Presidency on combatting period poverty. Without access to santiary products, many women and girls are hindered from going to school and seeking economic opportunities.

The letter has called for the new Minister to bridge the gap on this inequality and have started the process of developing a costing study to ensure that sanitary products are free for women and girls.
