We go to Free State, this time around its residents of Greater Harrismith and Kestel that are threatening legal action after against the Municipal Demarcation Board after it refused to grant them permission to be removed from under the struggling Maluti-a-Phofung Municipality. Residents say that they are not getting clear answers from the Demarcation Board. Free State MEC for Cogta, Saki Mokoena reportedly made an announcement during a meeting with the board and SALGA in July this year saying that three municipalities would be set up in the province which will include Harrismith.
