Residents of Komani, formally know as Queenstown in the Eastern Cape are approaching the Constitutional Court to rule whether the Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality should be dissolved. At the centre is what they say is the municipality’s inability to deliver services like electricity and waste collection. Other issues they are raising are lacking a financial plan, collection of rates and the inability to deal with ghost workers.
