Focus: Lovedale Press has been in existence for the past 200 years and has published some of South Africa's seminal indigenous literary, theologian and academic works. However, this beloved publishing house is a state of decay and facing possible closure. The Thabo Mbeki Foundation, universities in the Eastern Cape and other stakeholders have come together to help the publishing house keep the lights on and preserve the legacy of the institution for future generations.
