This year’s Budget comes at the start of the 7th Administration Term of Office, therefore MEC Maile will use the “mini budget” to set the tone, outline the priorities of Gauteng government and how public funds will be used to strengthen the economic growth, create jobs, and boost the fiscus over the medium term.

On Friday the African Farming Magazine hosted their inaugural Earth Harvest Gala which they say is an initiative to celebrate agriculture as an integral part of the country's heritage. One of the highlights was exploring the impact of indeginous knowledge systems on agriculture and rural development. The gala event was hosted under the theme: "Agri-is-our Culture".  Now we all know that farming in general is very hard, if we had to trace our heritage in this sector, what could we say was different then compared to now and how would our guests describe the interest of farming in today's generation?
