Our next guest has played a significant role in mainstreaming our local gospel and co-founded one of the most successful ensembles in South African history: Joyous Celebration. His journey into music started as a young boy who joined choirs because of his mother’s love for music which sparked his interest in the drums. Beyond his exploits in gospel, he has also worked with artists who have gone on to become pioneers in the jazz, afro-pop and kwaito genres.
