Saturday saw the burial of Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi who passed away at the age of 95. A lot of good things were said at the funerals by those who were given the chance to speak. But then as we all know that the man has a very dark history that we can’t just forget. So this morning we thought to look at the African way of remembering somebody as we are taught through history to not speak ill of the dead? Wars have been fought among different tribes, how then did they deal with the memories?
