Citizens Corner: Vaping in school

For our Citizens Corner this morning, we talk about vaping in schools and the dangers of this habit has on South Africa's youth. Professor Richard van Zyl-Smith who is a consultant pulmonologist at UCT and Groote Schuur Hospital says that the proposed Tobacco Products and Electronic Delivery Systems Control Bill of 2022 must regulate the usage of  vaping in schools. He was making submissions at the public hearings conducted by the Health Committee on Tobacco and Related products in parliament. Let's take a listen to some of the concerns he raised…
