Citizens Corner: App to curb GBV and femicide in the country

As incidents of gender-based violence persist in an alarming rate in our country, non-governmental organisations and civil society in general have been taking to the streets to try and out an end to the scourge. So many debates have been taking place on different platforms trying to come up with solutions. This time around the young people came up with an app aimed at curbing the problem.  The app called Gen G Engage is to be launched by ACTIVATE! Change Drivers in partnership with Sonke Gender Justice and Action Aid which they say aims to empower civil society organizations, young people, and communities, by providing them with tools and resources to efficiently access justice and provide support in gender-based violence and femicide (GBVF) cases across the country.
