The Take with Andy Sweeney

Hour three the guys talk some hoops with Vince Wolfram of Field of 68.  They play and react to some UofL football sound.  Who put the big bet on Kienholtz?  Nick has a controversial special ingredient for his jam in the State Fair. 

Hour two the guys start playing and reacting to some UofL hoops sound.  After being accused of glazing UofL the guys shift gears and play some Pope sound and talk UK.  Phil has an anti car theft idea that floors Nick.  We play some Sound of The Day!  

Hour one yes Nick and Phil are filling in but they aren't alone!  A one two Midday punch of Steve Rummage and Louis Rabaut join them to talk all things Seth Trimble.  Nick has a stupid question and we play some sound high on UofL hoops. 

Hour three the guys play a load of sound.  We start with some Mark Pope sound on Field of 68 and react.  A Barstool personality likes UK football.  To counter the Blue Creighton provides Brian Brohm sound.  Vinateri roasts at The HOF, and Italy's economy is based in cheese.  

Hour two Nick has been neglecting the textline so he gets back to it.  Among the topics covered the guys weigh in on fifth year guys returning, Isaac Brown, texts from Jenky and Bosemer.  Did Nick pee on himself today.  The guys click and beep at each other.  We play and react to some Heather Dinich sound on CFP expansion.  The latest on The NCAA appeal.  Pickup lines for celebs.  And Hikes Point has a flasher!      .

Hour One Phil is stuck in traffic heading to Bearnos J-Town so Nick tags in his Midday's cohort Steve Rummage.  The two talk about their poll question earlier posed by Maybin and the rumors of Seth Trimble joining The Cards.  Phil joins the crew to weigh in.  CL Brown of The CJ joins for his weekly Take visit. 

Hour three the guys ponder a potential ESPN Lou feud.  Rummage has a Practice Prophecy.  We debate who could post up Matty Bangs.  The texters weigh in.  Julie Howell of The Louisville Sports Commission joins.  We play some Barstool sound on UofL and hear an annoyed Dan Hurley.  Nick peed on himself.  

Hour two we welcome in SI's newest employee, CREIGHTON HARLEY!  The guys congratulate Cray and BLank on the new SI gig.  Phil has some imaging and we play PRACTICE PROPHETS with Creighton.  After some GFT, WDRB's Eric Crawford joins for his weekly visit.  

Andy is off this week so Nick and Phil are in.  They talk about their adventures at The St. Joe picnic over the weekend.  Nick wonders about the temp of the UofL football fans with Isaac Brown's limited attendance. Phil puts on the tinfoil hat. Some sound from the receiving corp.  

Hour 3 the guys welcome James “Big Rig” Streble in for the Crossover, the guys discuss Streble battling Cards fans, Creighton provides content, and a bunch of other nonsense to get you into your weekend.

Hour 2 the guys discuss losing weight, it’s time for Sound of the Week, we get perhaps the text of the week, Andy has an alternative take on the Isaac Brown stuff, is Brohm doing the right thing, and more nonsense.

Hour 1 it’s a Feel Good Friday…Andy opens the show updating everyone on the “save college sports bill”, is the ACC in trouble, will it get to a vote, what are the finances behind it, the guys wonder if Pope or PK will actually pick up another player, do the Cats want Mark Mitchell, and a “what if” for Cards/Cats fans.

Hour 2 the guys continue to talk Louisville football, Brohm’s mad about the kicking game, what about the QB, a member of the staff might have pink eye, and Creighton delivers perhaps the sound of the year.

Hour 3 the guys say hello to Blank, Soforo brags, Nick creates magic with Creighton’s mistake, Jonathan Litner joins the show, who has it better than Mark Stoops, a little more Louisville football, and the new Purdue AD makes a mistake.

Hour 1 Andy opens the show after the Jeff Brohm/Louisville football media day press conference, Isaac Brown is out and the guys give their thoughts, and the text line becomes enraged.

Hour 3 the guys do Fill in the Blank, we talk a little late portal in college sports, Justin Herbert and Madison Beer cuddle at a football practice, the guys discuss the sorority IG reels making their yearly return, Nick has a Summer Radio ? of the Day, and Theatre X is being sold.

Hour 2 the guys welcome Phil Baker in studio, Preakness/horse racing breaking news, Nick can’t stop it, and Luke Hancock tells a great story on Rick Pitino.

Hour 1 Andy opens the show wondering if Will Stein has gotten under the skin of Louisville fans around the office, IU brings in a former player so we’re wondering if the Cards of Cats will do the same, an update to the “save college sports bill”, Nick knows too much about Gatorade, Ethan Moore gives a terrible take that gets attacked, Andy has numbers, and we talk college football with Brett Ciancia with Pick 6 Previews.

Hour 3 the guys continue the college football discussion, Nick has a fight story, do we play national Matt Jones sound, an update on Blank’s vacation, and Aaron Rodgers said something.

Hour 2 the text lines comes after Nick, new employee “Baldy” accidentally called him “Jason Streble”, chaos continues over Louisville not in the Top 25, Andy has something he wants Stein to stop doing, the guys discuss some SEC rankings, our Summer Radio ? of the Day, and should we bring back MySpace?

Hour 1 Andy opens the show happy that football is getting close, are Louisville fans bothered by PK doing an interview with Kyle Tucker and not local media, ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg joins the show to talk some college football, breaking news comes out that Louisville did not make the preseason Top 25 in the Coaches Poll, Nick doesn’t let the cake bake, and Zachy C takes over.

Hour 3 the guys wonder if Zachy C should be cancelled, we give our Weekend Overreactions, Andy rants, and a question about the WWE.

Hour 2 the guys play a little Hell Yeah/Hell Nah, WDRB’s Eric Crawford joins the show, and a bunch of other nonsense.

Hour 1 Andy opens the show with the chaos surrounding college sports this weekend, will we demand Cards/Cats to get another big time player if they’re allowed, Andy demands UK football make a bowl game this year, and is the Triple Crown in horse racing going away?

Hour 3 the guys welcome Mark Ennis to the show to talk some college football, Vic Fangio swipes Fauci, Nick’s thoughts on Taylor Mathis auditioning for WWE, Boesmer takes a hit, Nick turns full heel and backs Kenny Payne yet again, and Blank says goodbye to Tanner.

Hour 2 is kicked off by the guys diving into the Sound of the Week, Andy might pick an EPL team, and the Deener Show’s disastrous conversation around the Morgan Wallen walkout.

Hour 1 Andy opens the show attacking the rest of the station for suckling to Cignetti, where was the rest of the Big 10, a poll question spurns a Cards/Cats debate, the text of the century, Andy has an analogy, Whittingham won’t make it in Michigan, and Mark Story joins us from the Lexington Herald-Leader.

Hour 3 Streble is in studio for the Crossover, the guys discuss Streble not having fun with the TBT, Grossman arrives and argues with Streble over UK vs IU, and Blank is at a nude beach.

Hour 2 the guys play some Mikel Brown sound, the guys make a mistake, Nick then magnifies the mistake, new Reds bobbleheads arrive, Andy has a conference thought that upsets Nick, and Laura Rutledge said something, kinda.

Hour 1 Andy opens the show with TBT chaos, Nick has a take that offends Rummage, Pete Nochta takes over UK football GM, could the Cards and Cats be good at the same time, what’s going on with the save college sports bill, the poor poor WNBA, Andy has a question, and Calipari gets “it” but does “he know”?

Hour 3 the guys play Fill in the Blank, Phil lashes out yet again, Jack Grossman shows up and immediately finds a microphone, who should be on the Cats/Cards patch, and Blank joins the show from the Mediterranean.

Hour 1 the guys open the show with PK bending the knee, Andy has a theory, a prediction about Streble as he battles Cards fans, Nick creates magic with the Baha Bullies and Donald Trump, Masiello soars, can Siva say no to Pitino, Cards picked 3rd in the ACC, CL Brown from the Courier-Journal joins the show, and Streble and Nick continue their text battle.

Hour 3 the guys welcome Eric MacLain from ESPN/ACC Network to talk some college football, a Bahamas update frustrates everyone, a thought on Flory, and the guys swipe McGavic.

Hour 2 the guys welcome in Zachy C to do a Hell Yeah/Hell Nah, the guys talk a ton of college football, Sound of the Day, and Jonathan Litner joins us from Lou City.

Hour 1 the guys break down the wreck outside the studio, what do we wanna see (or not see) with Louisville basketball later today, who is Madison Beer, Andy has 3 thoughts on the Cards, Soforo chimes in, there was a fight in the TBT, and I-65 is reopening!
