CLIP 1 - Kelly Giddings: One Shot Wonder 

New Nurse Kelly Giddings tells Georgie the story of visiting her soon to be high-school and getting a javelin thrown into her eye for the trouble! 

Kelly has an amazing attitude to this life-changing accident, and has never let having one eye get in her way!

CLIP 2 - The Swab Inaugural Live Podcast! (published 11/5/22)

During her run of sold-out shows at the Melbourne Comedy Festival, Georgie hosted the first ever live ‘The Swab’ recording. In front of a laugh-seeking crowd of nurses (and even some non-nurses) Georgie helmed a quiz show to see which generation of nurses (Dolphins, Penguins or Orcas) will rule the break room and have first pick of the bickies. 

A fantastic night was had by all as the Penguins came away victorious! In this clip, a listener wrote a letter asking for advice and whichever of the contestants came up with the best advice won the round! Needless to say when we are dealing with nurses, the question was of a biological nature!

CLIP 3 - Sim Sheridan: All Friction Non-Fiction

As an eager young nurse, Sim did not know what area she most wanted to specialise in ….so she pretty much tried them all!

In the end, becoming a sexual health specialist nurse consultant revealed itself as the path to take as Sim explains to Georgie in this clip.

CLIP 4 - Katie East: The Comeback Queen(slander) (published 18/4/22)

You couldn’t ask for a better example of a no-nonsense Aussie nurse with a wicked sense of humour than Katie East - and when you get her together with Georgie…watch out!

In this clip, Georgie and Katie exchange gruesome stories from nursing life - not for the faint of heart or ear!

CLIP 5 Indie McDowell: Life Aid (published 11/4/22)

A British nurse living and working in Ethiopia - Indie McDowell has some stories to share. Indie tells Georgie about the sharp cultural workplace differences to what Western nurses would be accustomed to.

We are now working on Season 3 which will be along in the not too distant future, but until then here is a little cut-together of some of our favourite moments from the last eight episodes.
