Dr Kaustubh Joag is a psychiatrist by training and a practicing psychiatrist in Pune since last 15 years. He has special interest in common mental health issues like depression and anxiety. He has interest in community mental health research, ethics in research and rights oriented clinical practice. He also works as a Senior Research Fellow at Centre for Mental Health Law and Policy, Indian Law Society, Pune. He co-leads large scale community based mental health intervention called- ‘Atmiyata’. He has completed the ‘International Diploma in Mental Health, Human Rights, and Law’ at Indian Law Society, Pune.
