Melbourne's Lockdown Set To Ease On Friday

View descriptionShare

Senior State Government sources say they are very confident the city’s lockdown will not be extended again, unless there is a dramatic spike in mystery cases. The Victorian government has sought to clear up days of mixed messaging about its vaccine strategy, with its Covid-19 response commander declaring the state was not saving up doses for second jabs. A new Shingles vaccine, that is almost twice as effective as the vaccine currently available to Australians, will finally hit the market. But it’s expected to cost up to $600 for the two doses required.  Brisbane Lions captain Dayne Zorko won’t play in his team’s Round 14 clash with North Melbourne after accepting a one-match ban for striking Melbourne forward Tom McDonald last Friday night.
