Why does Bible teaching recorded decades ago continue reaching—and changing—people all over the world?

Steve Marston sits down with Steve Shwetz of Through the Bible with Dr. J. Vernon McGee for a fascinating conversation about the remarkable reach of a ministry that continues to thrive nearly 40 years after Dr. McGee’s death.

Steve Shwetz shares how Through the Bible continues introducing new generations to Scripture, reaching listeners on more than 1,600 radio stations in the U.S. and Canada while also taking biblical teaching around the globe. They discuss the ministry’s app, listener testimonies, the World Prayer Team, translating Dr. McGee’s teaching into smaller languages, and the surprising ways God is opening doors again in Western Europe.

Steve also tackles an important question sparked by a listener comment: What’s the difference between sharing your faith and forcing your faith on someone? Looking at Jesus and the rich young ruler, Steve explains why genuine faith cannot be coerced—and why giving someone an opportunity to hear about Jesus is different from forcing belief.
