I just trip on it. Sometimes I think of all of all the mistakes I've made, man, all the bad decisions I came up with. Boy, I didn't came up with a truckload of them, y'all for real. And it's grace and mercy Man just keeps allowing me to exist and allows you to exist. To see, if you're listening, if you can hear me, then you know you've been allowed to exist also, and you know you you've been through grace and mercy are allowed to still be here in spite of uh, you know, um, a lot of the lot of decisions we may cause us to be in the predicaments. Win. I think we all are dult enough to realize that, or I would hope so. Anyway, Uh, you know, it's amazing when you meet people who when every time something wrong with them is always somebody else's fault. They did this to me, or they did that to me, or somebody said this and this caused this, and I don't know why, I can't get nobody I can trust and I don't know why. Uh. You know, if you peel back the banana, oftentimes, really you can always find a role that you had in every situation. Now, I'm not saying that they are not things that are per chance to come upon you, because that's some evil people out there to just do stuff toill you ain't done nothing. I ain't talking about that. I'm talking about if you really peel back to banana, we've made decisions. Oftentimes they get us in the predicament. You know, if you're in a bad relationship, you know, remember somewhere in the beginning, you you pick that person, so you know you do have to remember that part of it, your role in Why why Lord, you keep sending these people my way? Excuse me, excuse me. God didn't send nobody your way. Try to remember you picked him. Just just just try to remember that part and so in, in, in, in, in owning up to your end of the deal. Here's what helped me the most in my life, with my mistakes, my errors, my flaws, my failures. This is what helped me the most. It's it's the fact that God is forgiving, and God is a god of second, third, fourth, fifth, six chances. I mean, he'll give you chance after chance. If God was God just gave you one chance, we'd all be sunk. If he just gave you two times to get it wrong, we'd all be sunk, all of us. But He is a He is a forgiving god on so many levels, a thousand times, one thousand times of thousands. If it's necessary, he'll forgive you. Now, you know. Now, there's also some consequences with our actions that should cause us to straighten up and not have to be forgiven for the same thing ten thousand times. Now, I mean, come on, you know you you if if you know, if you got had to get set down for a major major felony or major major crime, and you gotta sit down for a do some time. That time is supposed to give you a moment of pause where when you get out, you don't do that one again. You know, you know, something like that. So I'm not talking about the extreme, but I'm just talking about, you know, the mistakes and errors that we make in life. I think His grace and mercy, the way that He forgives us allows us to get back up here is the thing that has really really helped me. If you don't let your mistakes bog you down, if you don't let your sins, your mistakes, your errors, your slip ups, your mess ups, if you don't let it break you down, if you don't let it define you, and if you don't let it stop you, that's the greatest gift, one of the greatest gifts you can get from God. That is not allowing all of your mistakes to stop you from forward progress, to bog you down, to make you lay there all. Well, I guess that if I did that, I guess I must not be no good. Listen, we didn't all done that some form of that see sin and sin in God's eyes. That's the cool thing, you know, So you know where at least I ain't there, so I ain't that type of person. Hey they did this? Hey, hey man, seeing and seeing the God. You know, we all we all fall short somewhere alund along the line. But you can't let it bog you down to the point where it stops you or it defined you. Because the reason that the mistakes can't define you is because we are all a work in progress, and that we all have made mistakes, but we all learned from the mistakes, and the mistakes and the failures are often very valuable gained experiences along the way, and that's what they for. You know, Look, when you're a little baby and you start learning how to walk, when you first let go of that coffee table, you ain't gonna make it all the way over there. You're gonna fall, sit down, and then you're just gonna crawl on over there. Well, and then after a while, you know, somebody get on the other end and they call you, and you take a couple of steps and you almost get there, and your fall and then you crawl the rest of the way. Well, if the fact that you let go of the coffee table as a baby, and you fail. If you if that's what defined you, we'd all be crawling today. But that didn't define you. That was a valuable learned gained experience alone the way to taught you this. And life is full of those falls. Now they become a lot more severe at the older you get, they become a lot more They come with a lot more consequences the older you get. But it's the fall. All is the same. It's still the fault. You fail. You fail, and and and and the thing of it is that that allows you to get back up as God is forgiving and if you don't, if you take accept the forgiveness, you can move on. What a lot of people do and what they think when I'm trying to get to the day is when you make a mistake and and you ask God for forgiveness and he forgives you. You don't have to allow other people to bog you down with that mistake. Every time they see you, they bring it up. They want to hold you accountable to your flaws and your mistakes. No no, no, no, no no no no no no. You have got to let it go. If God has forgiven you, but some people won't, then you're maybe you'll just move away from them. People, see, because it's people if if you if you let people define you by a mistake you made, that's their way of not allowing you to move on, not allowing you to say you've grown from that, or not allowing you to say, hey, well that change me. That's the thing in my life that taught me the lesson I needed to learn. I got people trying to beat me up about my past all the time. I refuse to allow that to happen. Because if God has forgiven me for my mistake, for my sins, for my flaws, then then who are they? Who are they to keep They're gonna they're gonna keep writing about it. No, no, no, no, man, you can go ahead and write about it, but they ain't got nothing to do with me. Congratulations, great story. And you gotta understand that the same way. And then see the second part of it is the reason that I'm able to move on is when somebody strikes me, somebody do dirt on me, I've learned to forgive them a lot faster now so so so I can be forgiven. You know, there's a line in the Lord's prayer that says, UH, forgive us our trust passes, as we forgive those a trust pass against us. Or some some people say forgive us our debt, as we forgive our debtors. That I've had it both ways, but my my favorite is forgive us our trustpasses, as we forgive those who trust passed against us. So that means when I go to God, I am asking God to forgive my trestpasses. Let's just say you don't quite understand what that said. Trespass. You see a sign up and say, don't trustpass. I mean, don't don't come over here, don't go pass this tree where you see this signing, don't come across this fist, don't don't come inside this gate, no trestpassing. Do not cross this barrier, this physical barrier that you see up. Well, everybody crosses the line in their life. Well, when you cross the line, you trespassed. Now you what you're asking God to do is forgive you when you trespass, when you cross the line, when you go outside the morality clause, When when you don't, when you commit us it, when you do something wrong the somebody, when you hurt somebody's feeling. You're asking God to forgive you, But then the prayer is to forgive us. Our trust passes as we forgive those who trust passed against us. So when somebody come to you and say, hey, man, I'm sorry, I did you wrong, I mean, man, we got to let out. We gotta take our knee off their neck, and we gotta let them roll because guess what, you're gonna trustpass and you're gonna need forgiveness, And they go hand in hand. A lot of people are bogged down in their life because they won't. They won't. You won't get your knee up somebody else's neck. So now you're constantly feeling the pressure of your mistakes. Ain't nobody forgiving you because guess what, you don't forgive nobody. See that thing go both ways. You know, if you want people's knee up off your neck, you gotta get your knee up off more people's necks. So I've learned to forgive people a lot quicker man, and that might help you down in your quest to get up and move on, to let somebody else get it up and move on. Every time you see him. You ain't got to hate on him every time you see him. It ain't got to bring no rise up in your spirit. Hey man, I forgive you. Let it go down me. We got to be friends and hang out. But I forgive you. The first one was this a prank called to a friend of mine, and uh, I kind of prank called him and sounded like to do from screen, you know, And I did like a little movie uh thing. I called him again, movie trailer type thing, like he wants some sweet steaks. He probably gonna know who this is as soon as he here is because he listens to y'all. But the other one, the bad one, was Okay, I've been seeing this woman now for lack of all over a year and it's like, everything's perfect. I'm not gonna lie to you, Tommy, everything's perfect, bro. And uh, you know, recently, you know what I'm saying, we've been you know, trying to have a h a paper, but it ain't really been happening, right. So the other thing we tried, you know, she went to the clug and ain't nothing's wrong with her, it's me. So what she wants to do is get artificially inssimilated. H and me personally. At first I agreed to. I was like, yeah, yeah, we don have to do that. You know what I'm saying, there's no problem, but I really don't feel comfortable with something of me going into a tool and her going to a tube, and you know what I'm saying, don't feel like it's right. Like And then I'm here at storious about a doctor who had a whole bunch of children running around because he was artificially assimilating women with his own you did, And so she's been really happy, man, real happy about you know, getting ready to have this baby and everything. And I'm like, you know, I don't want to do it no more. You know what I'm saying. I that's my confession. Don't do you just showing y'all y'all y'all married, we pilis, No, we ain't married. A few times we're not man, We're not. Ain't this what they called putting a the cart before the horse. He said, whatnot is like putting the cart before the sounds like you're trying to help you. He's so, here's a situation. Let me lay it out again. You're dating this woman. That's everything. She's an absolutely incredible woman. Everything's going good, she's perfect, she has no problems. You all have been discussing having a baby. You went to see the doctor. The problem a her issue. So you all want to have uti artificial insemination using her egg your spurn. Correct. Okay, Now you are starting to have second thoughts about this and why so? Man, I being one under which you see it's not like something out of one horrible movie or something man like Splice or something. Man, it don't it don't sound right? You know what I'm saying? And uh, it just feels like I mean friends of mine and something. I may feel different once the shorty here, but it's like, you know what I'm still gonna be thinking, like, Man, is that all me is? It's something? You know what I'm saying, because it's crazy stuff going on where I ain't no conspiracy theories and not really and it's all the scientific type stuff. But I know something, you just don't sound natural, man, you know. And she's a real smart girl, you know what I'm saying. And uh, I'll be trusting what she's saying. And I would like for Shorty to have my baby, you know what I mean. I ain't got no shorties in my own you know what I'm saying. She got one already. Uh see, you know what I'm saying out. Yeah, hey man, let me say this to you know, so, uh, you don't have any kids? You love the girl? Do you love him? I can't say a love of man? Okay, cool, listen to him. So then that explains why when I said earlier, why don't you all get married before you have the baby and then you could just be a family. But if you don't love them, you you shouldn't get married and bring a baby into Yeah. And I ain't judging you whether you love the girl or not. If you ain't in love, whether you ain't in love with it, ain't nothing wrong with that. That ain't no seeing not to be in love with somebody. I respect his honesty now. Yeah, but I think she's looking at it a little bit differently. If she's talking about a baby with you, has she told you that she loves you? Man? It goes on like she said that a lot. I ain't gonna back to you. I said it back to it, but I just thought that it's like a politically correct thing to say. You know, I got you, I got you. Yeah. Well, here's a deal, man. This is my suggestion to you. Don't have the baby right now because she's thinking this baby it's gonna really pull y'all together, and it ain't. You know how many women that never does not work. And if you're not in love with it, you can't marry her because you're not gonna stay faithful. You you feel me. I definitely feel where you're coming from. Yeah, you can't stay faithful to a person you're not in love with. It's hard being faithful when you're in love with somebody us. Please don't bring a baby into that. Yeah, yeah, so I think you're if I can, Man, I ain't trying to hold y'all up and none. But you know what I'm saying, Uh, give you a little bit on myself. I Uh, I didn't had nothing broke when I came into the picture. Short he gave a roof over my head, faired me, respected me as a man, despite I wasn't doing all my manly duties. You know what I'm saying, being a provider, the one who can teach somebody, you know, teach a child how they should be as an adult, or you know, raising somebody. You know, I ain't up in a position, but I got up on my feet. Man. I'm I'm a truck driving on in that thing, and we've got money, and it's like mad opportunities becoming at me. Bro. And the reason I'll be saying I don't love it is like just because of that man. I don't want to go into detail, but too many opportunities across my way. I like Shorty a lot, man, And I don't know why, uh why my feelings be like that. You know what I'm saying, But it's like what what what would you should that? Man? Like? I mean, really, go ahead, Well, here here's a deal. Liking a person and loving a person. There's two different things. What did happened is she was there for you, in in in your real our needs. But see this how the devil worked on this girl was here for you at the real our need you really liked the girl, cause man, she perfect, ain't nothing wrong with her, she's smart, she's beautiful, she all that. But now you're the guy on your feet and these other opportunities coming at you is these are just other girls trying to get at you. These are other females coming at you because they see you working. You gotta benefit, your nice looking guy, your decent man, and they're coming at you. You want to really experience some of this stuff because how old are you? Yeah, man, you're young man, And sit down with your girl, tell her the truth that you don't really want to have a baby, and then you just got to see how the relationship go, because man, you ain't in love with it, so you can't marry it. If you marry her, it's deaf. Don't put a baby in this situation because you're gonna compound the situation. So just take it easy and see how see how you and her go after you sit down and tell her the truth. But do sit her down and tell the truth and see if she still feel that way about you. And uh I had to come to two times of letting somebody know that I got somebody else, and of course you you know how that go. But two people make yeah, you know what I mean, come on, we If I would listened to my old man, I probably wouldn't have been in this situation. I should have waited try. I was like forty something or forty eight to decide I was gonna get married, because it seems like you can get everything out back then. Most men don't know that, but they won't tell you that. But he was trying to tell me that. But while I was calling, and let you know, I had to come to a confession letter know that I had somebody else. And the killer paul about it is it was so messed up because the one that suffering the most it's me, because it's wearing on my heart. You know, I don't know how most men feel, but when you come to a certain age and you know, like you know, you can't play with hards like that, you know, And I don't know what kind of reveren some people tell you, but that's just it all eat that you, especially if you believe in God. So with that being said, that's something I've been through and I had to let a note that I got somebody else and everything so yeah, I let it over the weekend. I had to let it over the phone because you know, I'm from well, I ain't on this shot. But you yeah, though, so how long? How long? How long you've been stringing her along? Man? Oh? Man? Tell me so, I've been screaming along for about about a year. But she knew I had somebody else. But at the same time, though, she was taking care of some things for me too from the financial standpoint, So that kind of ate at me too, you know. But I'm up on my seat. I'm gonna pay it back. Don't worry, no worries with that. I ain't got no problem paying back what I owe. But I'm just I'm just realizing that you could sit here and be, you know, be him the best player in the world. But if you've got a heart, you ain't a player if you got a heart, because you're thinking about what the badness that the bad things that you just put out. And you know, I'm getting older, I'm older now, so I'm I come to grips, say, hey, I ain't gonna live life like this. You know, everybody have a revelation in their life soon or lady, you know, I do poetry. Now, I got I do poetry. But on the side he's gonna do on my port you gotta write about this stuff too. So it's just one of them situations telling me and I felt good talking to you because you're my friend, brother, and I know you've been through it, so I could easily. It's like I could talk to you really, and I could talk to Steve. And I wish more people. And one thing about Steve, if I had listened to my heart of hearts Steve, that's the best thing he could have did when he put the book out, because I'd be wanting to tell women this exactly what's gonna happen to you. But what would that make me look like a pump for telling you the play book? But then I think about it. Steve was the money man, brave enough to come out there and tell him, but this is what I'm gonna do to you. That's exactly what he's gonna do. He gonna do this, He's gonna do that. But I don't think they wrote they should write a playbook for the ladies too, because the ladies don't have that. They sometimes they brand told us about to happen to them all they see is the face in the suit and the money. Other than that, they don't know what's the what's gonna transpire behind me. I'm just keeping in one hundred, that's all you are. Del How she How she doing? Man? Huh? How the girl doing the one? Huh? The one influence? She doing good? She all right? She she she was with somebody too. And that was the killer part. I was like, please, don't quit the person you with, because I'm gonna svintly come to you and tell you this ain't what I want. But and it's pretty much what had happened. So you know, I mean a trip. It's a trip, man, And I'm the one over here stuffing stuffing from that heart? What what What's what's hurting you? Man? What part of it? Oh? The heart? The part that the guilty you know, being you know, using, that's using people, Steve, But you know what that means? Though. This is kind of a good thing though, because, like you say, we all have that revelation, we all have that moment. It hits every single man. It don't hit us at the same time. It ain't no set age, but it hits all of us at one time. Hold up, man, I'm tripping. This ain't really met because one time, man, you're gonna hurt somebody you really care about, and inevitably you're gonna hurt somebody that really means something to you.
