Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all don't know. Y'all back a suit, looking back to back down, giving them like amzing buck things. And it's not good. Steve Hartley, I don't join jo. You gotta turn, you gotta turn to turn them out. Turn love, got to turn out. Then turn the water the water. Come come on your thing. I shall a good minding. Everybody. You're listening to the voice, come on, dig me now, one and only. Steve Harvey, I got a radio show, just trying to give God some back, just some back of what even gave me, just a portion, you know. Just I'm just trying, man to to show some type of gratitude for all his blessings. I'm just trying to, man, just just get it right sometimes, you know what I mean. I mean, man, you just can't do what you want to do and just live wrong all the time. Man, you got it at one point in time, Steve, come home. Man, come on, man, you could do better. I know you can, you know saying and you know what I had to do. I had to stop saying I'm gonna try to do better, and I just had to say, hey, man, I'm going to do better. You know, trying it's just to put forth an f and then if it don't work, well okay. But if you make up in your mind and I'm going to do something, then trying isn't enough. It's getting it done is the only thing that matters. Sin It's the difference between doing and trying. We're gonna try to win the game, or we're gonna go out here to win the game. Now, trying to win the game means that you could lose. But when you got in your mind made up, most athletes will tell you that they go out there with the full intent and purpose of winning and winning only see they don't put the second place finish on the cover Sports Illustrated. Second place don't get you there. You got to win. And now take it out of the scope of athletics, but keep it in that type of type of analogy in life. Man, you just want to you want to win in life, don't you. I mean, at the end of the day, don't you want to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated the life. Don't you want to be recognized for your hard work? Don't you want, you know, to be recognized within the bonus structure down at your job. Don't you want to have your plaque up on the wall down at your job? I mean most people do. Some people could care less. Some people don't care about looking good or being their best. And that's cool. But I ain't talking to them though. I'm talking to you. I'm talking to those of you who want to be the best you can be. You know, people kill me when they're getting mad at at people here and he Brown knows and he hall up on an employee of them. All man, the dude doing his job to the best of his ability, and he getting recognized for it. What they got to do? It? All that you're talking about because you ain't up there. It's amazing, man, how people describe other people's success. He's so lucky, lucky? Hey man, don't they kind of get you a little bit when people call you lucky? When let me tell you what luck really is, y'all. Luck is when hard work bumps up into opportunity. Some people call that luck. But hold on, let's think about this. If you wasn't working hard, an opportunity presented itself, what would you call that? But see, when you've been working hard, an opportunity presents itself and it bumps up in each each other. Now people want to call that luck, but hold up here, go to part though to day, ain't paying no attention to Yeah, that opportunity came by, But if you had not been working hard and the hard work had not ran up in the opportunity, what would you have? No, sir, it's not luck, it's work. It is work because as a scripture that says, faith without works is dead. But my mama was a Sunday school teacher. She taught me enough. Though. Now I know different between right and wrong, just like you do. You ain't gotta you know, excuse me when people write a strawberry letter? Am I wrong for this? You know? Good? Well, look at let's read your letter? Are you wrong for this? You know? You're wrong? What you don't need? That's to be telling, you know? But I'm gonna do this anyway. Well e see, go ahead, though, do what you want to do. But you know what, y'all, here's the best advice I can give you. This is what I really came to talk about this morning, but I got sidetrack because I listened. Get out of your own way. So many of us are blocking our home. Blessings were just in our own own way. We are in our own way, And one of the most dangerous ways you can get in your way is to do it your way, to get it figured your way, and to lock in on your way and just the way it's got to go. Do you know how many people are blocking a blessing? Do you know how long I blocked mine? With that mindset? Right there? Look, because it's the way you do it, do you think that makes it the right way? You think jazz, because you'dn't thought on it long and hard, and that's what you really want. Do you really think that your way is the right way or could that be a better way? See? Until I started listening to God and started paying attention to his way, man, I was spending my wheels. Man, I was out here so determined this how I was going to do it. But you know I had to learn how to get out of my own way because just because I could do it my way didn't mean it was the right way. I had to get out of my own way. Just get out your way, man, Now, what what does that mean? That means, see, set your goals, That means have your dreams, that I'm saying, set your goals. Man, I ain't saying don't set goals. Listen to me. Set your goals. What is it you want to happen? What is it you like to have, What is it you like to be? What are you aspire to? Set your goals and set your dreams. Now take your goals and your dreams to God and ask God to show you how. Man, you can save yourself a lot of pain. Listen to somebody who did it his way for so long. And when I finally got out of my way, out of my own way. When you've heard old people say, let go and let God, you've heard them say that I didn't. I didn't get it, but I got it. Now let go and let God. And it's amazing little saying. Though now you know you may not get it now. It took me a bunch of years to get it too. But when I took my goals and my dreams and my vision to God and I said, God, this is what I hope for, this is what I aspired to, this is what I want to be, this is why I would love to get to. Then I said, help me show me how. Point me in the right direction. Let me. Follow your footsteps, guide me, and give me a spirit of discernment. Show me who wrong? Because I meet people every day. Ain't up to no good with me every single day. Oh man, man, I can't believe I run up into you. Man, the Lord told me something's gonna happen to me today. Well, see, I talked to him every day. He did not mention you to me. He ain't said nothing to me. He didn't tell me what was gonna happen. In mind. Now I don't mean it can't happen because I'm open to it. So really, man, I'm and and please know I'm listening to it as well as I've ever listened before. But but get yourself together, though, see no, your goals and your dreams, and then let God show you how to do it. He'll do it. You know. It's so important everybody, that you get focused, that you aim for something, that you dream of something, that you aspire to something. But it's the most the best thing you can do. After you do all that, Man, get God involved in it. Man, talk to him. I mean, why would you not what you got to lose. You ain't got to go down there and make no big scene and run laps around the church and run up there and throw yourself on the altar and scream and flip over and throw money in the air. You ain't got to do that. This you and God, man, This you and God. You know you got to serve and praise him the way you do it. You gotta let nobody else tell you highs done. It's a personal relationship. People kill me if you don't do it this way. If you don't come here to this church and you don't run around in this circle and you don't get flipped in the air, you don't, Hey man, you better go have a relationship with God. See what that's about. You understand? Nobody throw you off with all that? All right, all right, y'all talk to him. He loved to hear from you today. You're listening, ladies and gentlemen. We are here on this Uh it's a Tuesday morning, but it really it feels like a Monday morning because we had the Monday morning we was off, but now we own. Yeah. I had a plate of food when I got for That's all I'm saying. Did nobody say thank you for the stuff I paid? All right, we'll get into the asked the cello Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey in the building, right you're listening to all right, guys, it's time now for ask the clo Uh. This one is from Anonymous in Atlanta, Okay. Anonymous writes, I'm in a very freaky situation and with my man and his twin brother. His twin brother is his roommate, and I spent a lot of time at their house. One night, we were having SAX and his twin walked in naked and asked him to join us. I did them both, or rather they did me, and it was the best sexual experience I've ever had. My boyfriend told me he likes watching me and his twin brother together. We've done it a few more times, and each time it is better than before. Do you think they play this game with other women? What different with me? They played it with you? You played? The question is have you played this game before? That's the bigger question, you know. Well see, I'm trying to figure out what why? Why? That's a question? Right? Each time is better than the time before. Have they done this before? The heir you faith, Yeah, but we already know the answer. Have you done this before? Yes, several time. What do you want from me? Yes, they've done it before, but they've never got nobody to do it that many times. Sept you congratulations. Yeah. I thought she was gonna say she mistook one twin for the other, something like yeah, now out there this one. Now he came in nicking an ass could she join? So they both did me? No weight? I did both of him? Right, Okay? All right? Anonymous? No wonder she's anonymous in Atlanta? All right, India and tech. Sarcana says, I'm a thirty year old married woman and I have gained a little weight since I got married four years ago. My husband encouraged me to take better care of myself and lose the weight. I appreciated its pep talk, and I started a diet and I started doing cardio. At the same time. He started going out all day on Saturday and Sunday and his phone would be off. He says, he's playing golf and he can't use his phone in the clubhouse. Did he tell me I was fat to justify him cheating on me, the stress is making me eat more. A weird fit to fix this problem? Then it is, we see, so says he to blame. Now see if he going to play golf, there are clubhouses where you can't use the phone, but go outside. He owned the golf course. The majority of that time, the four and the four hours, is on the golf course. Yea. So if he's telling you he can't use it in the golf club, that could be true. But on the golf course you can use your phone. He told you what he wants. He gave you the pep talk on it, and you're working on it, and I understand it. This ain't about your weight, but to him it is. He didn't gain it down pep talk and obviously, and now the stress is making you eat more. So when he do come home Sunday evening, guess what you bigger than you was when he left. No, I'm just telling you so this ain't me talking. I'm just telling you how he how he doing it in his mind. So now what you you know he wronged for what he's doing if he's cheating. But ain't nobody playing golf all damn day can't use day phone? I can't say that to my wife. I can't on sadday all Sunday, and I can me and Tommy can probably tell you that he don't play that game. Good now, the next wood better not? Who are you married to? All right? Moving on, Phoenix in the Bronx writes, I'm in my mid forties and I'm dating a man that's thirty four years old. I think he's my soul mate, and we don't see the age thing as an issue. What I do see is an issue is how he treats my dog. I have a Chihuahua that weighs four and a half pounds, and he does not like to be around the dog. If I'm out for a while, he won't even walk the dog so he can go potty. I've had my dog for eight years, so she is like my child. She can sense that he doesn't like her, so she'll stay in her crate while he's around. When he's around, is this a sign he's not the one? He'll no get your damn dog. He ain't got to like your dog. He dating your dog? He dating you, and nothing to say he got to like your damn dog. Now he's stay in the crate because he knows the man don't like it, Well, let's go and don't know, man, I'm not walking a little punk as chihuahua. Ain't. Ain't nobody fit to see me outside with no chain and no leash. And then a little bit of ass dog, the big bull ass as. I don't even like chiahas. No damn w Debrah Simon had a chiaha. Debrah Simon, girl I liked in the ninth grade. She had a chiaha. Went over there and he bit me on the ankle and he ran and I was wearing them uh uh thicking thins. Yeah, you know them silk socks with the pin stripes. And he got his little teeth on one of the pin stripes and pulling and unraveled my whole damn socks. When the problem is then what my damn socks? Then was my damn brother socks? Oh my god, Oh I got that. I got, I got the hell beat out. O. Don't don't shelly, we pokey side. Then you ain't got my ass pooked over some marbles. Now, boy, if you don't shut what you want me to do, I can't move from bring up at the top of the hour, Entertainment and National news. Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Hardy Morning Show. All right, So we have to address this. Carla Guys. Monique posted about our sisters. She did this long post, this heartfelt post to our sisters, to women who were wearing bonnets in public. We have been seeing them more and more, just you know, everywhere, at the airport of Chorus, at the Grossery store, just everywhere, women in bonnets. What is that about. It's like, you know, they're making some sort of fashion statement now with these bonnets on their heads. I remember Plies spoke on it, Dion Cole spoke on it. Now Monique spoke on it. It's really trending all over because it was really heartfelt. She's saying, you know, have some pride in the way you come out of the house. I remember growing up. We couldn't go outside. We couldn't do that. Nothing that belonged in the house, like rollers, your head, robe, couldn't we can I say something, Yeah, I'm with you when you write yeah. Now, Monique, what she said, I couldn't find a single thing wrong with what she said and the way she phrased it, And she was actually doing it from a standpoint of love, and that sister really did talk about it from the standpoint of just trying to point out a few things. The backlash that she has gotten for that comment. I was just reading some of the comments. It didn't make no sense, man, how people One woman said, I lost my sister and the best I could do with it I couldn't even comb my hair and I was going through it. Wa anybody talking about that. Where you're going with this? Hell? Yeah, Monique didn't say nothing about no. If you're going through some things we was talking about. She was talking about how young sisters. She was just trying to give a message. If y'all ever called me Auntie I'm just asking y'all to just think about this, and I'm saying this with Look, she did it the right way and she got a lot of support as well, Steve with saying that. And Carl, you just spend the weekend with your in laws, right, and you're at the airport. You saw it Birmingham, and and I changed planes in Atlanta and I saw a lot of women in the Atlanta airport rocking the bonnets and the house shoes and about it. Well, now there's the fuzzy shoes that a lot of women that are statement that a lot of women are wearing. So it's a look. But at the same time, I was just raised that you couldn't come out like that. You hadn't have a certain look. You had to comb your hair, you couldn't wear scar from bonnet and rolling. Right, That's how I was raised. So that's me about it that I'm like Hume and what we've taught our daughters and what we taught our daughters. Yeah, yeah, but for some reason, yeah, I see the box is going on right now. Everybody got warm. I didn't know, but you know, the comments about how planes are uncomfortable, and I do my hair when I get there, when you get there, it's just, you know, it's almost like, you know, you can't even say anything to this younger generation without being attacked, and so it kind of causes you to go, wait a minute, man, I ain't gonna say nothing. But then when you do, try to say it in a loving way like she did, and in a way just to give you a pause for thinking about something. It the haters, they just come so fierce with it, and it really don't make no sense for for for a person to be in public looking at any kind of way is not in your best interest. But you know, you can't tell them nothing now. And we all have the same kind of hair. So what's going on all right, Steve, Time now to get to our headlines for ladies and gentlemen. Miss Anne trip, thank you, thank you very much, And here's the news. President Biden's schedule to travel at Tulsa, Oklahoma, today, as that city commemorates the one hundredth anniversary of what would have been the second day of the nineteen twenty one massacre in Greenwood, the wealthiest black community in the country at that time. The violence erupted after false reports that a black man had supposedly assaulted some white woman, and that was all the racist, jealous white Bob needed. There were rumors of a lynching, and an estimated three hundred men, women and children were murdered by bigots who looted black owned stores and looted black homes before burning them down. Over twelve hundred homes and some two hundred African American businesses destroyed. Ten thousand Black people left homeless in what was called Black Wall Street, a forty square block area turned to cinder. One of the survivors, one hundred seven year old Viola Fletcher, who testified last week before the cong I'm here seeking justice. I still see black men sin being shot, black bodies line in the street, I still smell smoke and see far I still see black businesses being burned. I still hear aeroplanes flying overhead. I hear the screams have lived through the Maska every day. Country may forget this history, but I cannot. Yeah, the local city council sent up airplanes to bomb Black Wall Street. Also that was a sea council. There. A centennial commission chaired by a Democrat state center Kevin Matthews, reportedly raised some thirty million dollars for yesterday's and today's event. However, celebrities like John Legend and voting rights activist Stacy Abrams pulled out after the Commission failed to address requests that it used some of that money to compensate the survivors and descendants of what they lost in the rampage. Nevertheless, visitors from around the world did come to Tulsa over the weekend for speeches and concerts and museum, and among them the Reverend Jesse Jackson, Congressional Democrats Sheila Jackson Lee of Texas, James Clyburn of South Carolina. Later today a President Biden's to meet with the survivors, and part of the town thought to have been used as a mass grave, is to be excavated. Meanwhile, President Biden paid a Memorial Day tribute yesterday to this country's fallen. Here was at Arlington. He evoked the memory of his late beloved son bow who served in Iraq and who died of brain cancer exactly six years ago yesterday. And I have some idea how you're feeling. Our losses are not the same. But that black hole you feel in your chest as it's gonna suck you into it. We get I know the incredible pride you felt, Senior, the loved one, where the uniform of our country and the pride they fell wherein it? Now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to. Show. On May thirty first, nineteen twenty one, Tulsa, Oklahoma, was the sight of a horrific massacre. A group of white racists pounced on Tulsa's prosperous black enclave of Greenwood, burning, looting, and killing many Blacks while destroying thirty five thirty five city blocks. This year marks the one hundredth anniversary of these horrific attacks. Yesterday, President Joe Biden released a proclamation for a Day of Remembrance for the nineteen twenty one Tulsa race massacre, calling on Americans to reflect on the deep roots of racial terror in our nation and recommit to the work of rooting out systemic racism across our country. See the problem we have is I was watching Fox the other night and there was a guy on there who has this low, raggedy ass show, and his whole thing is our country is becoming a Marxist country, and that there are things of the Democrat and Joe Biden is Marxist, and they use using race to to fight our country. They're using politics or fight our country. First of all, the problem that we have is is when you don't admit to racism, you have no chance of solving racism. And so many of them try to push the acts of racism under the rug. And because you don't want to label it as racism or you being racist, don't stop it from being racist. The people who should just define racism and racist for you is the people that is being perpetrated against, not the perpetrator. Because you you in your lily society that you live in and around your friends, you all for you, this is normal because ain't nothing happening to you. This is right. And what happened in also, they went through that and bomb this neighborhood. They torch this neighborhood. They murdered these black people because they were successful. My father man whose father was a slave. My father said, be careful, son, it's not enough that they got everything. They don't want you to have nothing. And I always wonder why my father would say something like that, but he says, if the proof is through our history. He said they got Wall Street, We get Black Wall Street. You can't handle Black Wall Street. We're gonna come through that and take that from you, right, And they couldn't rebuild. And hey, look hey, look y'all, y'all got the right to vote. Oh y'all can't vote who you want in now? Look at all these laws they passing again. That ain't racist to you, right that It's called voter oppression, y'all tripping man, We ain't stupid, and nobody stupid. We we hip to this game and you're not offending. You ain't gonna keep paying on this telling us raining and we don't recognize the pete. All right, thank you. Coming up more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're listening and trending sports news, Junior. What is going on at these NBA games? What is happening, Shirley? These fans is was going on? Okay, these fans is losing their minded these games. First off, a Celtics fan was arrested for throwing a water bottle at Kyrie Irvin. Yes, a mixed fan. You saw that. A Knicks fan spit on Atlanta point guard Trey Young. Yeah, yeah, they're a Philadelphia fans through popcorn at Washington witness player Russell Westbrook. Yeah, oh, I know. They had to hold him back. Oh they did. Oh they didn't. They had to hold him back. He was trying to get up in them bleachers. Man, he was trying to get to a metal world pe get up there. And then three Utah fans have been banned for heckling and going too far with Memphis grilly star jayma Rant's family. So they were heckling his family at the game. I mean, this is what is going on to do? Are we allowed to have it because you know, y'all messing with athletes there. See people think people think when they buy a ticket that they have the right to voice their opinion. You can voice it, but you can't throw it to these players. You could boo them, you can you can cheer against them, you cannot do anything to players families that's in the stand cheering for their child. And because he played for Memphis and like he said, you had to say something really crazy to my family for them to go back and forth with you. But see if you hauling out stuff and his family and his family go back and forth, they have the right to cheer for the men for Grizzlies, even though you and Utah or wherever they playing. Yeah, they got every right. They have a right to cheer. A person does not have the right because you bought a ticket to degrade a player verbally, especially with racial appetititze and you cannot throw with these people, and you can't spit on them. These are human speeding I'm promise you this right here. I don't play no sports if you spit on me. I don't give a damn where we act. It ain't nothing, it ain't nothing, and nothing nobody can say from me. We can be at the Vatican and you spit on me. Pop gonna have to come down hire and absolve everybody in here. You can put me in front of the wooden box right after that because I got some confession. Yeah, you can't spit on me. Man. So they are mad at High because they're saying that he's he stumped his foot on the lepri Con. He'd been running on it all game, yea, over that logo, everybody running back and forth, stepping a little lepri Corn's face. He went out there, he stumped on the logo. And so what you can't hear it with a buck that ain't show damn logo and that ain't shoot. Yeah, still the floor and stuff. He took a picture of your mama. If he took a picture of your mama, printed it out, laid it on flowing, stumped on it. I understand you, right, I understand you bust them in the head with the fuck. But he stumped on that little white lever coun and let the flu that everybody's been running on back and forth to sell that l burden fell across that. They slid his ass across the little lepri corn facebo. Anybody saying nothing, but so are they saying that Kyrie disrespected? If you don't want Kyrie to do that, didn't win, that will stop a lot of just win. Yeah, I mean, but I'm gonna tell you now, I'm gonna man you. You just can't. I don't. I don't know how you won't go there and get this dude, you can't spit on nobody. I don't care if if I do have a contract a water bottle, spit throw pop. You can harm them with you can, Yeah, I mean, what is wrong with people? They need to just start selling cups that ye see? I bet you won't spit no motor when you're still. I bet you won't spit last your last. The people that spit don't be in the best shape either. With a world class athlete, this man made me is playing basketball. Don't think he ain't in shape? So you know, it's almost like we're gonna, we're gonna we're not gonna have a casket for her, um, you know, for the funeral. And you know, like I said, the funeral home told us about you know that you guys were the last ones that ordered a casket of that size, and you know, me and the rest of the family has been you know, we've been trying to figure out what to do and what to do. Do you think it's any way possible we can borrow the casket that your Ain't is in, and then when the casket comes in that we ordered, we can put her in that casket and put her back down to rest like she's always been. Do you think that? Excuse me? Hello, hello, if you think, could you repeat yourself? What exactly how are you asking me? Well, what I'm saying is, do you think we can bar your ain't casket? Because you know, the fuel is in two days and the casket is not gonna be in in order for us to be able to bury her in a in a casket for you know, to accommodate her size. That's what I'm asking. That's you don't trust to figuring out have you show No. No, Well, okay, first of all, what I'm trying to do is this the family been grieving pretty hard and I just wanted to make sure that the funeral would be right. And it ain't gonna be right, and we don't have that. We don't thing my family gonna feel digging any of you. I'll show they don't call me with this. Who is the funeral home that gave you my number to ask me to use the casket so you can bury your sister. Who was the name of that person? I can't remember, but it was it was a guy. The funeral director let me know that you guys had went through a situation where you had to bury your your your aunt. Like I said, I tried to call what's your name again? My name is Larry. Okay, Larry. This is this is a stupid I don't know what give you my phone number to call me asking you just dune? Can't you believe her? They call here asking me so can dig up a flaking bary? They're sure's don't have a Cassie. Hello. No, No, what's your fault? No? I understand it's not your fault. What I'm trying to say is what y'all show some sympathy and some love for what me and my family going through because we don't have a casket. Like I say, my tuister, my sister was was you know? Was it? If the heavens was a heast time good? You know, my condoleses go out to you and your family. You know I'm trying to be as reserved as I can with this whole situation. But do you understand what kind of stupid you're asking me right now to actually dig up my un whose army, who's been and what I for fun years to bury your sister? Let me let me answer this rough. If this, if were you that you ain't ain't gonna know she ain't gonna know where you because for you to say to me what don't but you're stupid what you're smoking on you smoking crack? What don't know? I don't know more. First of all, you know what I First of all, I appreciate you trying to work with me, but I want to say it is you. You don't even have the authority to make that decision if you give me one of the numbers to one of your cousins. Because I was really trying to be nice and be calm. But guess what, we're not doing this stupid. I'm trying to be nice to you and tell and trying to help you out, but no, you want me to get ignorant and ask stupid with you. I was trying to be nice and sympathetic, but we're not doing it. I'm not giving you the number. I got the authority to tell you right now. We're not digging up so you can bury your flops fear. Okay, so so so so so, that's just it. I can't talk to now one. That's no, you aren't talking, but you talking to me? We got it for you. Here. It is the Strawberry Letter. Thank you, nephew. Subject he picked the wrong sister. Dear Stephen Shirley. About two years ago, I messed around with my sister's husband after a drunken night out. I may him swear that nothing would ever happen between us again. We managed to stay away from each other, but he would text me often, begging for just one more night with me. He would tell me how sexy I am and I'm the best he's ever had, and he's with the wrong sister and all of that. I also enjoyed that night very much and have not been able to get him off my mind either. He has beautiful, dark skin and hazel eyes, and is very gifted with his tongue. Whenever I was at my sister's house, I would look at him and replay that night over and over in my head, then go home and take care of business by myself while fantasizing about him. In April, we all went out and celebrated my sister's birthday, and the whole night he undressed me with his eyes. He called me the next day and we both agreed that we couldn't take it anymore. He got us a hotel tell room, and we made love over and over again. It was all that I have remembered, plus some. We talked about how it feels so right with us, and then he gave me some should have could have would have, like if he'd met me first, we'd be together. I don't feel guilty about sleeping with him, but I know I'm a terrible human being. Whenever he leaves me, I get sad and I long to have a man just like him. He said he loves me and wants me in his life. But it's complicated. I know that if my sister ever found out, our relationship is over for life. I know things like this happen in movies, but this is my real life. Should I tell him we should go for it and see what happens? Or do I deal with the heartbreak and let my sister have her husband back. Oh? Why don't you be so generous? Isn't that sweet of you and just let your sister have her husband back? What? Let me just say, first off, I'm just glad you're not my sister, Okay, And I really hate this letter because what do you want? What do you want? You have all the answers right here, you know right from wrong. You know, you know what you're doing. You're you're not gonna stop seeing him. This is all like a game to you. Really, you know what you're doing, you know who you're doing it with, and of course you know this is going to break your sister's heart if she found out. So what do you really want? I don't understand you ask? Should you tell him? Let you guys should go for it and see what happens, or do you deal with a heartbreak and let your sister have her husband back? What that's really what you're what you're thinking about right now. I just, you know, I just think this letter is just so wrong because you know everything you said. You're a terrible human being for doing this. You're right, I mean, you have no remorse about this. You even said you don't feel guilty about this, But you should feel guilty. This is your sister, your blood, and it sounds like she's your only sister. You're just sleeping with her husband because it's fun to you. I mean, this affair and I hesitate to call it that. This is just some mess that you're in. It's gonna stop when you say stop when you say so, because why would he stop when he's getting two sisters for the price of one thanks to you. I mean, he's got the best of both worlds. He is the man right now. I mean you must like getting used or played or something, because that's what is going on. Please stop, just please stop this. That's my only appeal to you, because you have all the answers. You know what's going on. You know, before your sister finds out and one more thing. I'll say it again. I'm glad you're not my sister, Steve. Okay, how much time I got right here? So I was just going to determine how much I do. So let's I got a couple of minutes, so let me just go tell you a little bit. Then. First of all, he picked the wrong system. Two years ago, you messed around with your sister's husband on a drunken night. I made him swear that nothing whatever happen between us again, and we managed to stay away from each other. But he would text you often, begging for just one more night with me. He would tell me how sex I am, and I'm the best he's ever had, and he's with the wrong sister. Well, he's right about that. You was the wrong system. He got that right and all of that. I enjoyed that night very much and have not been able to get him off my mind. He's beautiful dog skin and hazel eyes. Okay, that looks scary to me. I'm thinking, canny man, real dog skin with have even colored out. I'm real scared with you. That sounded like color contacts to me. I'm not really sure what's going old, but I love dog skinned women. With dog either dog skin. When I see a dog one was a real light out. I go color contact Canny, man, I'm scared, and he's very gifted with his tongue. Okay, so I'm just so assuming you saying he could talk real good hood. That's what I'm gonna go with. I'm gonna just go with that. Whenever I was at his sister's house, I would look at him and replay that night over and over my head. Didn't go home and take care of business myself. After fantasizing that, in April, we all went out and we celebrated my sister's birthday. The whole night he undressed me with his eye. He called me the next day and we both agreed we couldn't take it anymore. That's all it took. We both agreed that we couldn't take it no more. Got us a hotel room. We made love over and over again. It was everything I remember, plus some. We talked about how it feels so right with us, and then he gave me some should have could have woodows, and all this should have could have woodows. He didn't say nothing about what he was gonna do. She should have would have cut him it needs. This is what I'm thinking to do. I had the rest everyone to come back, all right, we'll have part two of Steve's response that twenty three minutes after the hour, Today's Strawberry Letters, subjects he picked the wrong sister. We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening, all right, Come on, Steve, Let's recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject he picked the wrong sister. His sister right here slept with her sister's man two years ago. Always always something they would drunk, and then you know, he would always text saying one more night. Didn't he tell you how sex you were? He was with the wrong sister. Then she said it is beautiful, dark skin and hazelize. That right there threw me a little bit because that's a very rare combination. I like the candy Man reference. I'm thinking contact Lizy and Candy Man. So I'm a little scared right now. Who is it? I voodoo? No, I'm thinking voodoo, some role spooky. I'm scared a little bit, dog skid, hazel eyed, well where that come from? Anyway? And he's gifted with his tongue. I don't care whatever I would look at him and replay the night over and over my head. Didn't go home and take care of busses, myself fans. In April, we went out celebrating Sin's birthday. The whole night he addressed me with his eye. Called me the next day and we both agreed we couldn't take it no more. We got a hotel roommate, love over and over again. It was all that I remembered plus something, and we talked about how this feels so right with us, and then he gave me some should have could have? Would us? Man, if I'd have seen you first out, if I had only waited and got a chance to mate you, I should I should have just held off after we met you and seeing whether this will go. None of this is a plan. All this is lies is to keep making you feel good, because he know that's what women like to hear. If he met me first, we be together. Then he was a line in the letter. I don't feel guilty about sleeping with him, but I know I'm a terrible human being. Hold on, so let me get this right. You're a terrible human being, but that don't bother you. Well, you're a terrible human being, but that don't bother you. Oh okay, so you have no damn conscious. That's why it's so easy for you to sleep with your sister's husband. Because you it's about you. You're a narcissist. You don't have a conscious. Oh that's what this is about. I get sad and long to have a man like him. He said he loves me and wants me in his life, but it's complicated. Now this is another lie. I want you in my life, but it's complicated. Well, he got you in his life just like he wants you. He just want to be able to screw you when he want to. That's all he wants. But he got a wife. So now listen to this. I know if my sister ever found out, our relationship will be over y'all's relationship. What do you think Your mom will gonna think what you think? The cousin's gonna think what you think, y'all? Your whole family gonna think when this get out. I know this sister found out, our relationship is over life. I know things like this happened in movies, but this is my real life. Should I tell him we should go forward and see what happened? Wait a minute, go for what. He ain't proposed nothing to you. This man ain't said nothing to you. Let's go in there and sit down and talk to your sins so we have a life together. He just told you should have, would have, could have. He has not proposed anything. So now you want to go on there? Should I tell him? We should go forward and see what happened? This man being to walk away from you? He nothing to leave his wife or do I with a heartbreak and letting my sister have her husband back? Boy, what do you mean let her have him back? You ain't took him, He ain't left, and he know you ain't gonna tell. See, just the dude, he didn't plague you. Should I let shout? Should I let her have him back? You ain't took him, he ain't left, and he know you ain't gonna tell. That's why he said he want to keep you in his life. But it's complicated. Well, let me ask you another question, sistem. How would you feel? How would you feel if the shoot were on the other foot? I'm just asking you that right there. Oh, but you don't really give a damn. I forgot because you don't have a conscious Because you're really you, You really are carried a person. But that don't bother you. Now, let me tell you something else. You don't know nothing about this man except he can screw you. Don't know nothing about him. Y'all ain't got no bills, y'all ain't a had an argument chair, And let me tell you something else about him. He ain't got no problem lying right, he said he doesn't slept with his wife's sister. You can't get no closer than that. So when you do get him, let's say you do get him, you think he findn't cut the cheating off because he got you. He cheated with his wife's sister. Do you understand if a man cheats with you and you consider taking him from your sister? I don't think you really understand what this man is capable of. You do know that this whole move you're doing is a g T H Hill move. I just want you to know that this is a straight up GTHM move right. This is a straight go to hell move right? Oh, this this is how you get a front row ticket to hell. This is how you get him a seat right next to the furnace. You be over that bottom, you're in a lava rock section. Your ass is in that part of hell where you did the lava rocks section. You down there with you, just you the deepest pit of hell. You right next to Lucifer. I'm not gonna stand by and watch of one of our own get torn down by a black man. We got enough problems in this world. We can't support our sisters no matter what they do. And now you're on here, man talking about sexual escapades and you're talking about she not black? Well, what is she? Then? Help me understand that? But what is your real problem with Kamala Harris. Judge Brown, I'm asking you that because it sounded like just a personal vendetta. You aren't talking about her policies, You weren't talking about her competency. You were just talking about some personal rent, like you got some personal information. What you don't all this stuff you was talking about six well documented in the La Times. Well, we ain't read. And I get I get tired of this man. Why we as black people we can't have a damn thing because of another black person. We sometimes can be our own worst anyment, but we're not gonna be that on this one. Them Aka's is proud of that sister. Them Delta's is proud to that sister. All the sororities and problem, all these black women are proud of that system. It's a lot of black men is proud of that sister. I happen to be proud of that sister. And I'm not gonna sit here and exactly you sit up in here and drag her name through the mud because you own some personal stiff. What what you've done, You ain't all that. No, Judge Brown, that wasn't cool at all. And I'm telling you me and you didn't have some cool conversations, but we have to grown man ass conversation. Now. You got no right to call this sister out like that. You got no right to make the despiaging remarks you made about this woman, because this woman is the Vice President of the United States at all. To come with some level of respect from somebody. Damn. It's enough that they ain't giving us respect, but you turn around and we don't respect ourselves. We can't get one black woman somewhere without some black ass dude somewhere that ain't half what she is coming down and tear her down like you'd have made a better vice president. I don't think so, dog I really don't think so. Why what was the end game that she was trying to accomplish by dogging her so bad? But I told Kamala hass when she came on this sold ec used me Vice President Kamala Harry, and I told Stacey Abrams, you have a friend and uncle, Steve. I'm gonna come to your aid and rescue if I see anybody coming for you. See all of them, all of them are Republicans. That's coming for Stacey Abrams. Come on, we got to stop her now, na, na, man. She got an army behind her, she got said, she got some soldiers out here, she got some real men out here. And me and and and I know some brothers in radio. We're not gonna let you do this, man, So brother get back, get back to whatever it was she was doing. And me personal, I ain't got nothing against you, Joe, for real, I really don't. But what you said about this black woman didn't make no damn sense at all, the purpose of it. Even the little dude that was interviewing you, and he young, he just kept saying, Man, I ain't got nothing to do with this, miss Kamler. Well, now see I wouldn't. You wouldn't have been on my mix with that. I just shut you down with that. Steve Harvey says, no, sir, you can't just do these black women the way you want to. We can't have nothing, man, We can't have a damn thing man without seeing low has been asked. Dude coming up trying to knock assisted down. Who's accomplished something that's never been accomplished in the history of this country before? Man? How dare you You're wrong for that? Dog? And we're not gonna stand here and do it. I'm not gonna sit here and let you take something we did positive by our vote and then you trying to tell us our vote ain't worth a damn well wrong about that. I vote got her in the office. I'll vote gonna get her in the office again. But what we're not gonna do. We're not gonna have people like you, you guys to go doggie ye. All them days is over. You just slamming black women like you want to, you, Hannity, all of them. Y'all ain't gonna do it like this because we're not gonna have it. Uncle Steve has spoken, the champion for black wom black women. Thank you. We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at twenty minutes after. Right after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys, time now for tell me something good. Michael Jordan and Nike's Jordan Brand Get this, guys are donating one million dollars to more House College, Steve to their journalism program. Yes, it's all to help support students who are majoring in journalism and sports related studies. So thank you. Michael Jordan's major that's so big. Yeah, and congratulation him. He made a huge, huge donation to Black Lives Matter, and he has made huge donations to other college funds. And you know, look, man, Mike caught a lot of flats because when he was playing, he wasn't active as an activist. And the thing about Michael Jordan, Michael Jordan was born into basketball to turn basketball into a global sport. I mean, he took that jump emblem and that became that became one of his missions. Well, now that he's not playing basketball, he's a team owners and he's out there involved. Now we can compare him to what Lebron is doing. Lebron is one of them, a one players out there all the way around the board. But Michael Jordan has been making great strides in terms of doing stuff for less fortune, and a lot of stuff he does don't get publicity. So I applaud Michael Jordan and I understood where he was coming from back in the day because he was about winning them championships and he made basketball at global sport. Basketball wouldn't be in Spain, Israel, all in place if it wasn't for Jordan. Oh brother, he was Yeah, he was doing a dog old thing for sure. All right, Steve, thank you and thank you Michael Jordan More of the Steve Harvey Morning Show at thirty three minutes after right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. On May thirty first, nineteen twenty one, Tulsa, Oklahoma, was the site of a horrific massacre. A group of white races pounced on Tulsa's prosperous black enclave of Greenwood, burning, looting and killing many Blacks while destroying thirty five thirty five city blocks. See the problem we have is I was watching Fox the other night and there was a guy on that who has this lout, raggedy ass show, and his whole thing is our country is becoming a Marxist country, and that there are things of the Democrat and Joe Biden is a Marxist, and they're using race to fight our country. They're using politics or fight our country. First of all, the problem that we have is is when you don't admit to racism, you have no chance of solving racism. And so many of them try to push the acts of racism under the rug. And because you don't want to label it as racism or you being racist, don't stop it from being racist. The people who should just define racism and racist for you. It's the people that is being perpetrated against, not the perpetrator. Because you, you in your lily society that you live in and around your friends, you all for you. This is normal because ain't nothing happening to your affects us. This is right. And what happened in Tulsa, they went through that and bombed this neighborhood. They torched this neighborhood. They murdered these black people because they were successful. My father man whose father was a slave. My father said, be careful, son, it's not enough that they got everything. They don't want you to have nothing. And I always wonder why my father would say something like that, but he says it. The proof is through our history. He says, they got Wall Street, we get Black Wall Street. You can't hand on Black Wall Street. We're gonna come through that and take that from you, right, And so they couldn't rebuild. And hey, look, hey, look y'all, y'all got the right to vote. Oh y'all can't vote who you wanted. Now, look at all these laws they pass it again. That ain't racist to you, right? What it's called voter oppression? Y'all tripping man, We ain't stupid, and nobody stoopid. We we hip to this game, and you're not offending. You ain't gonna keep peeing on this television, raining and we don't recognize to pete. All right, coming up, it is our last break of the day, and we'll have some closing remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey at forty nine minutes after right after this, you're listening Morning show. All right, guys, here we are our last break of the day, back from the Memorial Day vacation. And uh yeah, short week, short work week, short work week. Oh this week is yeah, yeah, huh it is yeah. And Steve, so we're gonna turn it over to you. Yeah, you know, I got a little angrier earlier at the comments that Joe Brown made about Kamala Harris, and I stand on that. I'm probably gonna catch some backlass from that, but so be it. It's okay because you know that sister man deserves some level of respect. I mean, you know, we have to respect a lot of things that don't seem to go our way. We have to respect the police when they pull us over that don't always go our way. We have to respect the constitution that don't always go our way. You know, we have to respect the flag and stand for it when the flag a lot of times don't stand for us. You know, we celebrate a memorial Data's past weekend as we should, and we celebrate all of the fallen soldiers and remember them for their service to the country. And you know, we all had relatives that have been in these wars and stuff and off for this country, only to come home and find out that the country they fought for wasn't gonna do no fighting for them. But we still, we still have a huge number of people that volunteer for this country and try to defend it and just hopefully one day this constitution and this flag will mean for us the same thing it means for everybody else. So in light of that, I want to keep it a little light right now, not funny, but I won't do it in an angry tone. But I just want to give you something to think about. You know, I've been dealing with this country for sixty four years, and I'm over half a century old man, So I've been here a long time. I've seen colored only water fowlers. I grew up in Welsh West Virginia. I've seen colored only water fowlers, colored only restrooms. I lived through when black people couldn't eat at lunch counters. I remember man as a little boy going downtown. It was certain places we couldn't go as a little boy in leveland so I remember a lot of things, you know. I also understand that there's no record of my grandfather. I understand my father's father was a slave. My father's father was a slave. So just in a little white, in a little light moment right now, I just want to go over some things I was thinking about, and it's not something to do with racism, and I just want to help you out in case you don't really understand racism, you know, if you don't believe in racism, you might You might want to look at this real close. If you don't believe in racism, you might be racist. I'm just saying. I'm just gonna point out now all of these don't have to apply to you to make you racist. But if any one of these applies to you, there's a chance that you could be racist. I don't know. If you keep saying that stuff like this never happens, either your eyes ain't open or you blinded by racism, one or the two. If you keep saying stuff like this never happens, I believe this is happening. Hold on, you could be racist. I don't know. If you're silent, it's simply saying that you're okay with this. If you're silent and you're not saying anything, hold on, excuse me, you might be racist. You could check it out. If you're not speaking up in marching or siding with the black lives what black lives really means. If you're not trying to understand what black lives really means, I don't know, you could be racist. If you refuse to address or acknowledge that something is wrong with this country. I'm not saying you are, but you might be racist. If you're okay with the treatment of black people in this country. If you're okay with that, you might be racist. If your senator is against the new proposed laws and bills concerning voting rights and the unlawful treatment of black people by the police, and you voted for him or her, check yourself. You might be racist. If you think black people need to go sit down somewhere. You ever said that, you might be racist. If you think that this country is treating all people of color family, you might be racist. If you refuse to listen to the concerns of people of color, ain't got nothing to do with you. You might be racist. If you just keep saying I don't see what the problem is, you could be racist. Look, I'm not saying all of this is anybody, but if any one of these is coming out of your mouth, you need to check yourself. Man. See, that's what we keep trying to tell you. Racism is. Maybe you don't know, so let me help you define it. If you keep saying white lives matter too, you're racist because we didn't say they didn't. We just were saying we want our lives to matter the same as everybody else's. If after watching all the black people killed in the news and on social media, and you keep saying, why are they resisting? You're probably racist. If you're insisting that this country doesn't have a racist bone in it, it's because you the bone. You probably the bone. If you think your forefathers, even before slavery, was justified in how they acquired this country, that's racist. And if you don't see that a miracle was acquired through some very questionable methods, you might be racist. I'm just saying you probably need to look at that, because that's what racism is. In case you didn't know, I just wanted to give you a few things to chew up. You could few racist, and that's probably why we can't solve it, because you don't know you how For all Steve Every contests, no purchase necessary void where prohibited.
