I'm gonna get it together. I'm gonna stop using you when you make these decisions. That's correcting your mindset. Now. The closer connection you have with God, the more help you get sustaining the mindset. How many times have you started to do something and you stopped? How many resolutions have you made at the New Year and stop? By February? Over with? By me? A January done in March. Because if you don't have a clear connection with your creator to help you carry out the other force out there, that evil force is designed to get you not to reach your goals get you not to come to resolution with whatever the resolutions are you made so he can conso you can consider yourself not worthy or failure, are unable to do something. But the more things you are able to accomplish, the greater your confidence goals grows. So we gotta get your mind set together. Your mindset is a decision that you have to When you make the decision, you can be getting the process. Your mindset is also a will of yours, a will along with the decision, a will, a willingness to do right, a willingness to change, a willingness to be better. It's going to then cause you to have to make a decision to make a change of direction. Don't go where everybody else going. You got to go your way now. You can't follow the crowd. You gotta take a less travel path. You cannot do this without changing your direction. You can't keep hanging with the people you've been hanging with if you want to be different because they're not. Then you have to develop an obligation to yourself. You've got to say, you know what for me and my family. If you don't have a family for me, I owe it to myself I have an obligation to myself to be the best meat that I can possibly be, to be the best self that I can possibly be, to be the best father, the best man, the best husband, the best wife, the best mother, the best daughter, the best son, the best student, the best employee, the best owner. You have an obligation to yourself to to give yourself a shot at the best life you can. That's an obligation. You owe that to yourself. Why would you not live the best life that you possibly could. You have an obligation to yourself. Why would you treat yourself like that? Why would you take yourself and never allow yourself to see the goodness that's already in you, to have the abundance that's been promised to you, to go and explore all the riches out there that's available to you. And but, but but one of the worst ways that you can rob your self of the joy of your obligation is to keep comparing yourself to somebody else. Because guess what, Man, that ain't your life. You ain't jay Z and Beyonce, you you're not You're not open. Instead, man, that's not who you are. Quit looking around at everybody else that comparison of everybody else to keep you broken it, to keep you unhappy. You won't even be able to be grateful for what you have because you steady talking about what you don't have. That's not the way, man. If you knew you couldn't fail at whatever it is you were attempting, what would you go attempting? See? That's what we need to be after. We need to get that. If you're sitting there thinking about it, man, it's got to be molded. This it is. It is that the God and you crying out. That's the seed that was planning in you. That's the gift that's in there that's been locked away for years. It ain't too late to open that door. Man, When is it too late to be free? Asked Nelson Mandela when he was alive. Nelson Mandela suffered twenty some years man, behind the wall. When he got it out, yeah, he was more powerful, more significant than it was before he went in. Ain't never too late to be free. It's what I'm doing, which means what I'm actually doing is I have a block of eight hours where I can eat. I eat for eight hours, then I fast for sixteen, you eat for eight. So my my eight hours is twelve noon to eight at night. That's my eight hour block of eating. And then I felt when I'm sleep to hell, come on, now you know you sleep that counts. But I'm up at five. So you know my from five to noon, no eating, five am to noon, no eating. How's it making you feel? I mean, man, like, yesterday was my first two day show, and so it was okay, you know what I mean, my first two days show. I didn't have to take a five hour energy My energy was good. And I'm drinking uh this coffee and I drink organic coffee, but I put uh mct oil in it, which is coconut or pure pressed coconut oil, and it's a fact, but it gives you a lot of energy. And then I use uh mct brain octane so I'm not sluggish during the day. And so it really really keeps me mentally clear. It really really does. So I'll keep you all. We traveled to Maryland to visit his mom, and it was the worst visit ever. His mother was drinking hennessy from the time we got there still three days later when she kicked me out of the house. Then she fussed about me taking a shower at night and in the morning she told me to She told me to ask permission to take additional baths in her house. That was the final straw for my fiance. He lost it and went off on his mother, calling her an old, hateful, drunk be I was in shock and told him that was uncalled for. He hasn't spoken to his mom and over a month now, I'm wondering if this is some kind of character flaw he has. Will he treat me the same way once we're married or was he just protecting me? But to answer your question, I do think perhaps he was trying to be protective of you, however crazy way he did it. He was disgusted in his mom's behavior and he showed it. And yes, he just might have some residual issues going on as a result of her alcoholism being around that. UM, so you know what, I would just um, maybe you know, make sure that he's okay, get some counseling. I don't know if you guys have considered marriage counseling or not, but if he does have issues, they probably will come out during the marriage. So I definitely suggest some counseling. I know you're getting married soon, but I wouldn't go into it without getting some counseling. And sometimes we get so deep into the situation to the commerce that starts, the lights, camera action, the platform that they give us, that what we do is we walk into this pit and we start to sink into it and there's nobody there that pull us out. And I and I believe that what we witnessed with some black on black crime that was facilitated by something else that gave a platform, and you saw some men hurting each other and then taking advantage of it. Kanye, we love you, brother, and if you're willing to listen, we're there to help you. If you are willing to listen and get the help that you needed and to van stay strong, brother, but understand the power of where you are at TMZ. And she's said that he's had that problem before. So um, yeah, so we'll be watching and you know, praying and rooting for Ernest to shake those demons and get some help for his addiction. Yeah. Serious moment that she uh talked about. So anyways, I'm how does she know what's she recovered? Now? She's at home. She's back at home. Mama did is back at home. All right, let's move on, dime. And so she's kind of like just dealing with this pregnancy on her own, and he's telling her, you need to squash your beef with your mom. You need your mom down here to help you with your pregnancy journey because I'm out here trying to get this money and take care of the family. But what I appreciate that Black is is showing that, you know, the best couples have hard times and they're dealing with real life and real struggle and real marriage issues. And at the end of the episode, Dre moved out. He moved See Carla, I was on the couch, devastated. Tasha was on the floor. Didn't did he move out? And did he go around? My dad used to go around the cone and come back. Did he move Dre moved out. So here's a question for you guys. Have you ever been in this situation where you had to move out? See? You know, normally doing closing remarks, what I try to do is say something that's a inspirational and uplifting. UM. I very rarely give commentary, but this thing with Kanye is everywhere, and I'm hearing so many attacks and so many what's wrongs and so forth and so on. I just wanted to say something man that, uh, it's taken me a while. Now, what I'm about to say, I haven't always been this way. I'll be the first to admit. And I'll also be the first to admit that I can't take my own advice in every instance. I'll say that too. And I'm not trying to do this just to be so different from everybody else, because there are a lot of people have already started saying some things like I'm about to say. But I just wanted to say something. You know, in this instance, I choose to be forgiving. In this instance, I choose to be understanding, even though whatever the statement was, it's hard to understand. But It is forgivable because whatever the statement was, he didn't put us here. He ain't the reason we hear. He's not the reason we continue to have our problems as a people. He's really not. He's not. He's one guy, and the guy that he is happens to be of the human nature. Forget what you're here for time. I'm a god, I'm this, I'm not. No, no, no, no, no, no no. He's just a guy. He's just a man like all the rest of us. But if we didn't follow man so closely and so hard, if we didn't have man held in such high esteem, we wouldn't be so affected when things like this happened. We have a God, we have a Lord and savior. We have a savior. It's not him. When you become famous, man, you have to learn on the job. There is no school of fame. Now, you can get with some people that's already famous, and they can hip you to it a lot quicker. But if you don't have a supporting cast around you, if you don't have the people around you, man, you can handle this thing a little rough. See I've said this before. If you're the smartest person in your group, then you need a new group. You cannot be the smartest one in your group because eventually you're gonna call all the shots. And nobody should be free to call all the shots that affect the thoughts of so many. And what this young brother said on TMZ was, man, you out here saying this stuff, but we're out here trying to grapple with the realness of life. And I could understand where he's coming from. But before we all pounce so quickly, before we all ridiculed so quickly, let's just think for just a moment. Let's just think for a moment that the glaring spotlight that's on this brother, Most people don't ever get that glad or that same spotlight. But with that glare and that spotlight, it comes a form of responsibility. And until you have a support group around you, a group of people who can sit around you and have the strength, the wisdom and experience to tell oh, you know, the wisdom, the courage, and the stript to tell you you can't do that. This can get away from me. And so I've chosen this time, instead of ridiculing and criticizing, to be more of a calming force. That do you understand that what Kanye says changes nothing for us in the real scheme of things. That he is not the cause of slavery, and he may have misinterpreted the definition of it, but he ain't the cause of it, and he ain't the reason why we still here. He can't be. He can't be. What we have to do, and what I choose to do is put my arm around that little brother and go, yo, man, how old he is, forty forty whatever, he's forty years old. I'm sixty one. I got twenty one more years at this. I made some huge public mistakes. I just I just I just had some good people around me that put their arm around me and said, hey man, that ain't the way you should have did it. Now you gotta make amends. You gotta straighten this out. And that's what I choose to do with him. Put my arm around their little brother and say, yo, my man. It's like when I was getting eight alive on social media, when all you when y'all was calling me coons and Uncle Tom's and all this. I got a phone call from Magic Johnson, and Magic Johnson said, hey man, I just felt like my little brother needed a hug. And he fixed me up with that hub, and so I'm gonna reach out to get that brother the same hug Magic Johnson reached out and gave me, because I know what it feels like to be out there on that island man, when everybody talking about you negatively. I know exactly what that feels like from something you said publicly or did publicly that they didn't agree with. I know exactly what that feels like. So in this case, I choose to be forgiven and understanding. Okay, So that's what I'm gonna do. So just think about that. Don't hold him in such high esteem that he moves the needle for you, because he ain't your god. He ain't. He's really not. Drop it closing, dropped the mike boy, it is okay, Okay, how about that?
