But we think people's gonna like it. We went to uh, we had a private skinning last night here in Hollywood, man that they were screaming and laughing and you know, crying at some times. Man. It's really an emotional right. How do you do you guys like the I'm sure you do. But how do you feel about the actors that actually portrayed your your your character? You you yeah, they did. Yeah, they did an amazing job. Man. You know, it was a little scary initially, man, because you know, the chemistry that we pulled off over thirty three years, man, they only had less than thirty days to pull off. Man. So when we look at the dancing of lower did and that was probably the most challenging part that they all had to overcome. But we had the bigs, of course, which is you know, six of them cats, and then we had the little Man, which is five of them cats. You know, this booty starts from nine eight and it pushes all the way through two thousand and five. And initially the littles was putting the foot in the big behinditely. Listen, they ratcheted the pressure rug Man and made it hard on them cats. Man. But you know they did everything that they were supposed to do. They made the phone calls. I mean late night we would be on the phone with these cats just talking to him about what the mindset was at various times throughout our careers. Man, And they all embodied to carry the characters of Ronnie, Bobby, Ricky, Mike, Ralph and Johnny and Brooke paying Man and the Mamas. When y'all see the Llamas on this joint ain't for night one, man, I'm to tell you, but man, we are so proud of the work man. It couldn't have been done by a better castic characters. Now, the two that played Bobby, are they all right? Because I know they didn't went through something Yo, what he mcclaimed, he's been saying it for the last I want to stay probably about you know what has it been? Uh? Last May we started filming and it took about thirty five days. I don't think he's let Bobby go since then. It's about of fact, man saying so uh yeah, it said a beautiful thing. I think we all up their game probably about ten knotches from before they took on these roles. Man. But you know, and it's funny because they have a little thread or text thread or group me thread, and they said they been talked with each other. That hasn't been a change that they haven't said something to each other. Man. So they started a brotherhood based our new addictions brotherhood, man, And it's a beautiful thing. That's good. All right, let's talk B B D. Man. The three of you guys, y'all continue to make hit after hit. Uh. You have a new album, three Strikes, that will be released this Friday, January seven. What inspired the new music? Man? UM? A couple of things. You know, we um, we do a lot of shows. We perform all year around, you know, fifty sixty shows a year. UM. You know, being in front of our fans all the time they've been asking for it, and sometimes you know, in our shows feel like, you know, we would like to have the music and you know, it just brings a new energy to switch songs up, and that was one of the motivations. We recorded the song run about a year ago with Eric Sermon. He produced a song. Uh. We put it out over the summers Um July, and it took off for us. Man. We got a really good response for it, and the man got a little bit higher for us to make more music. So I think we just jumped in a studio. In a matter of you know, three to four weeks, we had a whole album. You know, we call it three Strips as our first album in about fifteen years. The way that it came together was really organic, you know, similar to how the Poison album came together. You know, we just came into the right song. Their age appropriate, their groovy, that everything you love about don't give the vote they got you know, they hip hop, beats um with the old sexy melodies, catchy melodies, and you know, we'll we feel like we're at the best as far as our talents and performers right now. So we really feel like songs for song. If you match this up with Poison, man, it's it's uh uh man, you know, it's it's it's good man, it's so I would say it even better performance wise and even funk the song besides Poison, I think it's stand next to that monster right there, man, but not also, you know, we get out of Adam and and not only that, the first single run. I'm not sure how many times I'm not a blade it, but right now we're sitting in the top ten. We're trying to get it to go number one at least another Yeah, we released another record to the streets two weeks two weeks ago. It's a duet between vell Bil Devon and st Z and that hast so running. Yeah, that has already I was sold run on iTunes and it's not even really heavenly at radio. But we shot a video that were dropped in about forty eight hours, so people are about to hear a record, a strong on the record that fits format radio all the way across the boards that I think is a duet that ain't no one's really heard with a true male and the female groups in a long time. And we just hope when y'all heard it didn't play it, that the Steve Harvey audience dis embraced it because it's really a great on joining all right, we've been waiting for it.
