I'll usually I ain't getting nobody's business, but damn they let everybody in their business. Hey, then there's something involving the President of the United States and words that came out of his mouth that could be misinterpreted if you're not careful. Surprise, surprise. I'll get to my sports in a little while. Got my man Chris Carter coming up, got a whole bunch of sports items to get into. Got the New York Knicks and call Anthony Towns to get into as well. But I gotta start here with some politics for the day. Let me not forget Cardi being offsett and of course p Ditty as well. I'm gonna get started with politics, however, and the race for the White House, where both campaigns were on a trail stumping for votes this weekend. I'll start on the Republican side where Donald Trump continues to make headlines with his words. Speaking at a rally in Erie, Pennsylvania, yesterday, the Republican presidential nominee came up with a solution to end shoplifting, specifically all the videos we've seen permeating social media. Check out what this man had to say this week.
And please you know in New York you can't walk into a drug store now. It's like you're in a prison of glass. If you want to buy aspirins, you have to wait forty five minutes for a clerk to come up and open because the shelves they literally the people walk in, they just take everything they want.
They walk out of the store.
What the hell is going on?
See, we have to let the police do.
Their job, and if they have to be extraordinarily round and the police aren't allowed to do their job. They're told if you do anything, you're gonna lose your pension, You're gonna lose your family, your house, your car. The police want to do it, The Border Patrol wants to do it. Border Patrol, they're incredible.
They want to do it.
Then not allowed to do it because the liberal left won't let them do it.
The liberal left.
Wants to destroy him, and they want to destroy our country.
Now, if you had one really violent.
Day, like a guy like Mike Kelly, put him in charge. Congressman Kelly put him in charge for one day, Mike, would you say, he's right here, he's a great Congressman. Would you say, Mike that, if you were in charge, you would say, oh, please, don't touch them, don't touch them, let them rob your store. Let all these source go out of business. Right, they don't pay rent that the city doesn't the whole it's a chain of events.
It's so bad.
One rough hour, and I mean.
Real rough the word will get out and it will end immediately, end immediately.
One rough hour. Really really explain how ignorant that statement was that he just made in a minute. But before I do that, let me go to the Trump campaign, because here's what they had to say regarding the backlash from the comments.
Quote.
President Trump has always been the law and order president, and he continues to reiterate the importance of forcing existing laws. Otherwise it's all out anarchy, which is what Kamala Harris has created in some of these communities across America, especially during her time as California Attorney General when she emboldened criminals. I'll get to Kamala Harris in the second, because she's not squeaky clean in terms of her doing all the right things with her campaign, and so far as I'm concerned, But let me say this about what Donald Trump said, and I'll start it off by asking a question, are you stupid? Are you insensitive? Or is it just a win at all cost mentality? The latter, While some people might abhor it, it's acceptable to some degree during a campaign. But when you say what you said, you're basically advocating for police brutality, right, and I mean really really voley for an hour. That's what you're doing and what you did in the process, Donald Trump, is you ignored police brutality or as I like to say, brutality on a part of some police officers. You ignore how that disproportionately affects some communities while not necessarily affecting others, at least perception wise, and you feed into you favoring certain communities who happen to look like you as opposed to other communities, primarily minorities, who have been complaining about the very thing you're just advocated. Now that's just not smart. That's not smart. It's either not smart, it's insensitive, or you're just completely oblivious to what the hell is going on in this world and the climate that exists, and how advocating such a thing is incredibly irresponsible for a person who was once president of the United States, and it's vine to be coming again. Now. In fairness to Donald Trump, let me say this, there were articles that intimated he was calling for a purge similar to the movie Purge and stuff like that, where citizens could be engaged in lawlessness and what have you for twelve hours or a day or whatever the movie said. That is not what he said. So the articles that were out there saying that he said that misrepresented his words. He was talking about lawlessness permeating the streets of America and how police needed to be supported when they engage in enforcement to curtail criminal activity. And he just used bad, very bad and irresponsible verbiage to make his point. But that's the problem, because ladies and gentlemen, when you're the commander in chief, when you're the president of the United States of America, when your primary job is to look out for all Americans, not just a few that you label as your constituency who voted to support you. You can't say stuff like that because words have power and they influence lives our Liae January sixth. When you want to say you had nothing to do with it, that you call for a peaceful protest, you did tell them to go in march in the nation's capital. You did encourage them to put a stop to them ultimately validating the election. You did tell them to do that. You certainly didn't dissuade them when they talked about hanging former President Mike Pence. When the lives of representatives representing our nation were in danger. Then you wanted to come on afterwards to talk about what you did and encourage them to do and what you didn't say. But then you go out of you say something like this. Under those circumstances, whether it's on a part of citizens or law enforcement officials, do you encourage such a level of volatility. You don't do it, because ultimately it's gonna scare the living hell out of American citizens who are going to adopt a bunker mentality and going to the business of doing whatever it takes to protect themselves. And that's how mayhem and anarchy foment and grow and ultimately get out of control. Not smart at all. Want to say one other thing to Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic nominee for the presidency for the United States. We know she hit the campaign trail yesterday in Nevada, a key battleground state. Before that, she launched an HBCU homecoming tour in an effort to reach more young black voters ahead of election day, which by the way, is just five weeks away. Meanwhile, she continues to face criticism for doing just one solo interview since she entered the race. That was with MSNBC last week. She also did a sit down with All the Smoke podcasts last week, and I believe that comes out today. That's Matt Bonnes and Steven Jackson, who do a great job with their podcast. By the way, way, major props to them. Kamala Harris should consider herself very, very lucky that Trump is her opponent, because otherwise she would be accused even more faciferously of running from strong inquisitions by the Fourth of State. All the Smoke, I'm quite sure they're going to do a hell of a job. They're not the Fourth of state, not compared to the kind of heat she would face going on other platforms that specialize in politics and her record. Now you have to take it to consideration where people are coming from where they're critical of her. They're looking at Joe Biden and they're saying he didn't have a primary, they greased the skids so he would have no competition. Then he shows up for debate June twenty seventh, exposes agism in some people's eyes, but a cognitive decline where specifically he's concerned. Ultimately he steps aside. She's handed the nomination with no resistance. This is four years removed from her not even being able to make it to Iowa. So the belief is that if she had had to really face competition, she wouldn't be where she is today. You don't answer that called by avoiding interviews and a heightened level of scrutiny from people who specialize in the world of politics. An HBCU tour ain't cutting it. Rallies ain't cutting it. That's the truth. But she's lucky because you're going against Trump, who seems to say something foolish every week. Whether or not that's gonna last remains to be seen five weeks away. As it draws closer, you know they're gonna bring the heat on her, and you gotta be willing to stand up and face the music. She's going onto HBCU tour because they don't believe they have a lot of black folks locked up in terms of the vote. Do you got them on lock where they're gonna definitely vote for you? There's a question mark about that. And now we're hearing the unions don't support her. She's got like a nine percent jump on Trump, but Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden had significantly more. These are things to be concerned about. Once again, had it been anybody but Trump, she's going up against what she's doing, wouldn't be enough. It's enough because every single week something foolish comes out of this man's mouth. That's just the truth. I would say somebody. Nobody's saying it, so I'm gonna say it. But the fact is everybody's been saying it over the last week or two, and the momentum is just gonna continue to rise. Mark my words, Mark my words. Coming up, I'll get into Week four of the National Football League season with my man Chris Carter, who joins me every single week right here on the steven A. Smith Show. Don't touch that doll back with more in the moment. Have you heard here at the steven A Smith Show. Let's get right to Week four of the NFL season with my next guest, the Hall of famer who spent who spent years with the Minnesota Vikings where all he did was catch touchdowns. He's a Hall of Famer, one of the greatest wide receivers in the history of football, and a pretty damn good NFL analyst, if I should say so myself, the one and only Chris Carter se see himself. What what? What? What the hell is that? You got a Gold Background Bowl, curt back, But what's going on?
No, this is not the home studio, This is not the crib in Boca. I'm on the road in Paris with my wife. It happens to be her birthday. Were celebrating in Paris a couple of days and then we're going to see your guy, Aaron Rodgers play against my undefeated Vikings. But I wanted the people downstairs to show you.
Now it's not.
Time to pop the bottle yet on the Vikings season, but we do. We got a little Don perrym going on here. We got some purple balloons for you. We got a chocolate football here for you, steven A. Because the reason why even football fans in Paris are excited about the Vikings because what other team in the NFL could be undefeated and defeat three other playoff teams that won games the previous season that you wouldn't be saying, Wow, this team's exciting, man, I can't wait to see them play. Only the Vikings can do that, and then you not acknowledge their success.
I'm gonna start off getting them right now because they are four and oh on the season. After bead Green Bay was up twenty eight to nothing, almost blowing that game. How are you feeling about your Minnesota Vikings at this particular moment in Tom I ain't gonna lie to you. I actually have them as the best team in football at this particular moment. I can't believe I'm saying it, but I got to give respect. Where is do it on defeated record and a defense led by Brian Flores who showing me a little son, and not to mention Sam Donald as well, how are you feeling about your vikings?
I so great about him.
If you look at the eight or nine free agents that Brian Floores went out and got, not household names, not you know, people are not going to be reading the press clippings about these football players. But he knew the players that fit into his system. So for me, when you're playing that type of defense this early in the season and then coupled with they're all pro tight end is not available yet, he's going to start getting ready probably come off.
The iron the next four weeks.
We saw last year's first round pick. When he's at the lineup with Justin Jefferson, he's capable of being an All Star by himself and Sam Donald man our coaching system. They've been recruiting Sam Donald since he was in high school.
We just happens that.
Our head coach, Kevin o'ne Kevin O'Connell, he was at a passing camp Elite eleven when he was in high school, so he also followed him at USC. He also did background checks on him when he was coming into the league. So Sam Donald was always a great athlete playing quarterback. Who he thought when he got drafted by the Jets he was the youngest player in the league. So this is a coach that's been after this player and now with the other system that we have around in the system of the players we have and the defense, that's why you're able to see success for Sam Donald's like he's never seen his school.
Well, what the hell was he doing the last six years? Ce See, I'm looking at him right now. Number one, leads the NFL with TV passes, leaves the NFL with a one to eighteen point nine passer rating, third in the NFL with a seventy three point six all okay, and second in the NFL a brock perty eight point eight yards per past attempts. Where the hell was this Sam Donald? The last six years?
Steven, And we see this every year we watch organizations ruin quarterbacks Carolina Panthers just the recent history, but this goes.
Back thirty years.
Man, if you're not in the right system, if you don't have someone looking for your best interest, guess what New England's doing right now? They realize that Kobe bursays their best option. We're not going to put that kid out there to get all those sacks, all those bad memories. Very few of our elite quarterbacks come back from getting pounded when they're earlier in their career. Troy Aikman did it, Yes, Hayton Manning did it, but very few. So, just like Bill Belichick talks about more games are lost than one, more quarterbacks careers are ruined by bad organizations and coaching. And that's what Sam Donald experience, which a lot of other quarterbacks experience in the league.
Why they getting away with it? You know? Tom Brady came on this year weeks ago and actually spoke about this CC where he talked about quarterbacks being thrown out there earlier, not prepared, not receiving the level of coaching and tutelage that guys like himself and various others received leading into their careers of starting quarterbacks in the National Football League. Why do you think that is? Considering that the quarterback position is the most popular position, most important positions in football, like so many of them are being abused and not tutored correctly. How has this happened in the National Football League.
Well, the number one thing is the organizations listen to their fan base too much and they think when they watch these kids play USC, even Ohio State, Alabama, oh, they're instantly ready. No, they're not ready for the NFL. The types of defenses, the play calling, the amount of pressure that they face week in and week out, it is it's not a position that most kids are ready for. So but to take the time because if you're at the top of the draft, you lost a lot of games, and most coaches and the organization is not going to be patient with that coach if he's lost a lot of games. So they forced the kid in there to try to start that timetable between coach and quarterback, and that mixx doesn't always work. Man, when you're making kool aid, sometimes you need a little more sugar than what they tell you on the packaging. And with these kids, they need a little more time to wait. Like Tom Brady said, Aaron Rodgers has said the same thing in the last couple of weeks. To develop on the sideline before they get in there and have to face that intense pressure.
Chris Carter, in transition to the Baltimore Ravens. They started the season one too, and now they're back to five hundred after the beatdown they put on the Bills last night thirty five to ten, by the way, behind Derek Henry opening the game with an eighty seven yard touchdown run straight from scrimmage, finished the game with one hundred and ninety nine yards. All I could think about is how stupid the Dallas Cowboys were not to go after this guy and ultimately signed him. It would have cost you anywhere from six to eight million dollars, but somehow, some way, Jemy Jones was telling us they didn't have the money. Well, the Ravens found it, and having him in that lineup, I think the Baltimore Ravens look incredibly formidable. What did you peel from last night's victory over the Buffalo.
Bills Week number one?
I told you it takes a little bit of time for Derek Henry to get situated in Baltimore's offense. Baltimore doesn't run the type of running plays that he is used to. He's used to having a lead back. But now Baltimore great coaching staff, they're going to figure this thing out with Lamar Jackson. So I'm so much. I'm glad that he went to Baltimore because low key he's going to be able to develop there.
He's a great player.
He's been playing off of Broadway there in Tennessee. He deserves some playoff success and what they have offensively around him, and we know defensively they are going to be up to speed by the end of the season. But I think what he can do with Lamar is a better mix than with him and Dak Prescott and playing in the limelight of the Dallas Cowboys. Jerry Jones, you spend money on what you want to when your team is worth ten billion dollars, you can make it work. He didn't make it a priority and that's why the running game will suffer throughout the season.
Was amazing how you talk see see this is the CC. I mean CC here. He's astute with his analysis and he's breaking down the game. But when it came to Minnesota, I saw a motion, I saw enthusiasm. I saw a cat that said, Yo, I'm not here in Patty and I'm about to roll over to London and oh, by the way, we gonna handle our business and gets the do joke. Just were gonna be You sounded like a guy that think the Minnesota Viker's gonna win the Super Bowl. But you're talking about Baltimore, and I sense none of that enthusiasm whatsoever. Last time I checked, Minnesota don't have Lamar Jackson and they don't.
Have Brick Henry.
But also Minnesota didn't have to go through Kansas City to get to the Super Bowl. If you look at the NFC right now and you look at the way we've knocked off two of the superior teams that be in San Francisco and Green Bay, it's gonna be nipping tuck down the stretch. But how many teams do you know are gonna go on the stretch where they're gonna win four games? Baltimore, Yes, do they have Super Bowl as inspirations, but they're two and two. That team hadn't lost the game yet. So why should I be talking about Super Bowl aspirations in Baltimore, even though I'm excited about what Baltimore can do.
Because you have foresight. That's why. Because you have for sight, you have football brilliance. You see things before other people see them. You seem to be me, you seem to be feeling that way when it come to Minnesota. It ain't just because they undefeated. You just brought up the path at least resistance. You saying they in the NFC, But in the AFC, I see the Chiefs, even though they fifty four to oh after beating the charge of seventeen to ten yesterday. I see a team that lost Raceive Rice. He's gonna be out in all likelihood for the year with the ACL injury. That's what they're speculating about. Will know definitively shortly. But in the end, I'm looking at Pacheco out, I'm looking at Hollywood brown out. I'm looking at Clyde Edwards, Hilair. He's out, even though he's expected to come back. Now, Rice is gonna be going, and you bringing up Kansas City and how they're gonna be in the way. Really, that's what you do it.
Well, they've going back to back Super Bowls now the Super Bowl. The football guys are speaking. Now, that's what you start to hear with those injuries. There's a reason why no one has three peeded in the NFL, the most brutal and most physical of sports, and that's because of injuries, continuity and free agency, and now they've lost their best target, Like you're not gonna be able to replace him with Hollywood Brown late in the season, like RACEI rights, this dude was on the cuffs of being a star. Started moving him in the slot, started taking away Travis Kelcey's routes by putting him in Travis Kelsey's spot.
So I don't believe.
Kansas City will repeat, but I still believe they're better than Baltimore.
Well, yeah, I get you, CC, but here's the deal man, you're wide receiver. You watched Kansas City drop forty four passes last year. Forty four They ain't never seen anything like that happened, and they still won the damn Super Bowl. So if you can, you can win the Super Bowl. Even though your receivers are dropping passes all year long. How come you can't overcome some of these injuries, especially when half the guys are gonna be back come playoff time.
With top five defense. That's right, five defense last year. And this is what I respect about Kansas City. Now I'm getting ready to say something, and I hope you catch this. Every time a team wins, it creates an algorithm for the whole team, even the players that aren't that good.
We always talk about the star players.
But now every time I win, every time I win a different way, it creates another algorithm for my team to be able to win. So when I told you about the Pittsburgh Steelers, they could only win a certain way, and we saw that this weekend, Kansas City can win more ways and they have the best player. So I'm gonna always give that respect because they're algorithms. Oh, special teams are winners a game. Oh defense to win a game. Oh Patrick Holmes will throw for three fifty and winners a game. All those things are already in the computer, so you have to respect that.
See you're saying all of that, but just sound like some a YouTube expert instead of somebody that's pointing out that you know that the realities of the National Football League algorithms. That's what you brought up to support your position about knsas City algorithms.
Every time you say something into your phone, it creates an algorithm for who you are and your personality in sports, every time your brain wins a game together, they got new players. It creates more belief in the system. Andy Reed, you know what he's telling them today. Hey, guys, we did this last year. We didn't have a star receiver. So guess what we're getting ready to We're gonna spread this thing around. Guess what Patrick Mahons is saying. He's saying the same thing. Guys who even haven't even been on the team new Worthy.
Guess what he's saying. I believe in these guys.
Why they've won a lot of different ways. Yes, man, That's why it's important to win different styles of football games because it creates a culture that does not panic when you have to win in a way that is you are not accustomed to winning.
Going back to Sam Donald and the Minnesota Vikings, is he the best quarterback in the NFC?
I believe he's in a great situation.
That's not what I asked you to say, quarterback.
No, he's not the best quarter.
Say it. It's a rookie. Say it, say it, say it.
Say it.
Man.
There's a kid in Washington.
Thank you, And I'm gonna take you back to this man when he was a freshman playing with one of our friends. When he was on Hearn's team at Arizona State. He started as a true freshman, and you wondered Wow, Man, he's awful lean to be a quarterback. Is he going to grow into that body? To me, I always felt like he was a better passer than anyone in college football, and I thought he was the best runner.
I thought he was.
Better than Caleb last year. Man, I don't know what Chicago was thinking about by.
Not looking at this kid. He rushed for one thousand yards in college football.
So so you said, so you saying if you would have watched to command, you would have took Jaden Daniels with the number one overall pick.
Yes, yes, forty times.
Hey man, Caleb Willims Man, he's a little height challenge brouh And the one thing he does special is all that scrambling around that ain't special in the NFL. Man, there's only one guy that gets away with that. Well, Aaron Rodgers used to do it. Patrick Mahone does it, but there's no one else doing that. They were giving him bonus points for oh man, he makes plays off schedule. That didn't want you want your quarterback to do.
You want him in the pocket. And then if he have to make a playoff schedule do that. You don't want that to be the main thing.
So yes, I thought Jade and Daniels, and I thought with DQ in Washington, Man, DQ is a quality coach, man, and I believe his second time being the head coach, he's.
Gonna do it better than Atlanta. They got something special in Washington. Man.
I look at Jaden Taisy, I hear what you just said. When I think about Caleb Williams, I'm looking at you. Got Eba Flus in Chicago. They got Quinn in Washington. They got Cliff Kingsbury in Washington. Give him respect. Where's do how you work with the quarterback? Give Quinn credit. He was a head coach that took the Atlanta Falcon to the Super Bowl. They might have blew it a twenty five point lead against the Patriots, but at least he got him there. You've got the right structure around Jaden Daniels. I think Chicago's getting there. But right now, Caleb william go ahead and drop it on me.
Tyler Murray sabotaged Cliff kingsbury career in Arizona.
Man, How was that explained? What do you mean by that?
Dude?
Was not spending the amount of time that you need to be. You know, when you open up your tablet. In the NFL, they can measure how long you study.
Okay, he didn't figure that out. God, So you know I got people in Arizona. He is not a student of the game.
That's why they were contemplating do we give him this big money? And you see that his overall attitude and is inconsistent play there in Arizona.
That's what ruined Cliff's career. So you can believe you could see.
The venom that he was throwing out there last week when they was in Arizona.
That was a special game plan that he came up with.
Oh yeah, well that's him being as an offensive coordinator, and they kicked Arizona's ass, Make no mistake about that. But what I'm saying to you is I want to make sure I'm clear because we remember when Michael Vick was in the National Football League playing for the Atlanta foul because if we remember years later, he revealed that he used to take the playbook and throw it in his trunk and he never really really studied it. Are you saying, essentially, that's what Kyler Murray did and that's what made Cliff Kingsbury look worse than what he actually is. And what we're seeing now is the version of Cliff Kingsbury that we should be seeing as an offensive coordinator. Is that what you're saying?
Two things?
That's what I'm saying, and that's what happened in Arizona. They would have been much more successful if he was a student other game.
Remember he was trying to play us coming into the game. Oh, I'm going to go play baseball.
That was just to get the money and get that second contract in football, damn. But since then he has become more of a student. But when Cliff was there, that right there altered the arc of his career. And you will now start to see with Jade and Daniels, Cliff Kingsbury will be a great candidate to be one of the next head coaches in the NFL given what they're going to put out there offensively.
Wow, let me transition from on Pittsburgh Steelers before I'll let you get on out of here, because they fell at three and one, losing their first game of the season to the Indianapolis coach twenty seven to twenty four. Was down fourteen and nothing of a crime. Now, loud Justin Field's played well despite lose. The loss going twenty two or thirty four for three hundred and twelve yards and a touchdown. I saw some things from justin Field yesterday. He helped bring him back. He made some plays with his feet as well as his arms, et cetera, et cetera. I was very disappointed how sloppy the Steelers look, how sloppy their defense looked as well. But in the end, I'm of the mindset I'm now having a hard time imagining as much as I want to see Russell Wilson in a Steelers uniform in terms of what to find out what he could do, I can't see you removing justin Fields the way that he's looking. He's getting better and better every week. Am I wrong and feeling that.
Way, No, you're not wrong. And I started the season on the opposite side. I was saying that Russell, because of the injury, when he gets healthy, needs to be back in there. But I believe it's been a great month for Justin Fields, and he's had a couple of games where he's thrown for over two fifty three hundred yards. That's not going to be his forte. But the one game they lost, it wasn't because of him. So now we got a sample size of a month. He knows that great defense they have. He's been on to effectively get used to the receivers that he has, and especially the last two weeks, I have to tell you you can see the improvements in his overall passing game. And that's what you want to see from a young quarterback. Even though it's his second team, he is still a very very young quarterback in this league.
I wanted to say, I want to say that was the last question, but I lied my ass off. I got another one because I got a transition to the Philadelphia Eagles because of this one reason. They got blitzed by Tampa Bay the other day on Sunday. Nick Sirianni and Jalen Hurts don't seem to be on the same page. I'm having a hard time holding Nick Sirianni completely accountable. I know that last season when he had lost both coordinators after they went to the Super Bowl and lost to Kansas City, that they got exposed a bit. This year, he brings in Kellen Morris as offensive coordinator. You don't have Aj Brown, you don't have Devon t. Smith, you don't have Lane Johnson, okay, and I can't hold Jalen Hurts with so much accountable in that regard. But he's still turning the football over. Doesn't seem to be anything near what he was a couple of years ago. People are starting to lose faith in Jalen Hurts. Some would say faith in Syrianni. Where do you fall in that thinking?
I'm losing more faith in the coach than the quarterback because I have seen I have seen the quarterback go through adversity and come out on the other side several times, a couple times in college, even early in his pro career before they gave him the big contract. I mean, they're just one throw and catch away from winning the Super Bowl if they're able to complete one of those passes late in the game. Are we still saying the same thing? The one thing that's been consistent in Philadelphia the last two years is Nick Sirianni and his inconsistency. He says something stupid every week. Man, you're playing guys millions and millions of dollars. He talking about all the mistakes on the.
Field are his fault. That's a lie. The coach is not.
The coach is never supposed to lie to you and when you come in the locker room and tell you all, I'm dropping passes, I'm making mistakes, I'm missing blocks, I'm blowing coverages, and the coach has taking a blame for that. That's stupidity, that's lack of real, real leadership. And every week he he has bulletin board material that if I'm the owner, if I'm Howie, if I'm the GM, Howie Roseman, then man, I'm cringing.
And this is going to be one of.
The jobs that's available next season. I told you earlier in the season. Bill Belichick is going to have an opportunity to come back and coach in the Philadelphia Eagles. I do believe will be looking for a new head coach after this season. Whom in the butlerts of talent that they have, who would.
Need Bill Belichick moore the Eagles of the Cowboys.
Man, stop with the Cowboys.
We mean, stop with the Cowboys. They need it, They need it bad, they need.
When they change their owners, then you can ask me that question. As long as they got Jerry Jones, and you know Jerry Jones, Jerry Jones is not fooling with Belichick.
Man, he's not gonna fool with.
Him's running that show.
Did you invite me on this show to tell you what to do or did you invite me to collaborate with you?
I invited you to collaborate with me.
Man, Belichick is not doing that.
Belichick's not doing that. Listen, Well, what was stupider when you talk about Sirianni and what he's done. What's more stupid him doing what he did taking all the blame when obviously it should be allocated to other individuals. Or Baker Mayfield opening his damn mouth and talking about Tom Brady and how tight he had the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and it's a looser environment because you know I'm paraphrasing here, he basically talked about how Tom Brady weighed heavily on the team. I'm like, this is seven time Super Bowl champion who, by the way, delivered the championship for the organization you played for. What the hell was Baker Mayfield thinking, uttering those those dumb ass words out of his mouth.
Steven A.
Man, I spent sixteen years in this league. I lost two NFC championships. I never made it to the Super Bowl. A lot of the games. I lost stephen A. I sat in my car in the parking lote and I cried.
I hate looser. I hate losing man.
I would have loved to been miserable with Tom Brady for one year. I would have loved to have a dude. Man, at the end of the game, he gonna make three or four throws a can't nobody else make. I would love to have a dude, hey man, if you maybe you run a little bit after practice, a man.
Maybe if you eat a little bit different, hey man, Maybe if.
We stay a little bit as coverage, hey man, like, man, do you really want to win? Chris and I wish I would have had that. Baker Mayfield sounds like a fool man.
I couldn't believe he said it. I couldn't believe, especially since you played for the same organization and you ain't been to an NFC championship game. You've been in the league for seven years. You beat Pittsburgh in the playoffs once when you were with Cleveland, you beat the Eagles last year with Temple, but you ain't never even been to a conference championship game. And you would say that about a seven time Super Bowl champion. I thought Tom Brady was very appropriate when he ended it by saying, I thought that he's about winning championships. He said, this isn't daycare. You said, I want to have a good time on taking my kids to Disney. We're trying to win. I was like, I couldn't believe it. Make if you said that, Bro, I really couldn't.
But your attitude will determine the arc of your career.
Yeah.
And there's a.
Difference between Baker Mayfield and Tom Brady and I'm Tom.
Baw it's a huge difference between the two.
How they wake up on a daily basis even today is very very different. None but respect for the Goat and Tom Brady brou no doubt.
Man, go ahead and enjoy Paris. Man. I ain't to tell your wife. I thank her for allowing you to have his time. You make sure you take care of her. You know what I'm saying. Right, you're not.
Pomping for the Vikings yet, But we're gonna put this on ice.
You know, Onrary on February. We're gonna back to it.
Last time I checked, you did play for the Eagles. It wasn't just the Vikings.
I mean, damn, listen, man, the Eagles cut me.
I ain't got no love for the man.
It's different.
If somebody relieve, then they bring you back and then make you wealthy, you know, like you did and everything.
Man, go ahead and enjoy parents, Man, I see you next week. Bro, Enjoy Patty, Patty want and only Chris Carter right here, man, that's how it goes to that boy, that boy crazy and man crazy. Coming up, we'll get to some quick hitters from the world of sports. Did y'all see the maybe blockbuster the trade the Knicks Mayor pulled off this weekend? I said maybe, because damn, it ain't official yet, at least not at the time I'm taping the show. I'll get into that. And that's so because it's gonna happen, y'all. It's gonna happen, y'all. I'm talking about that next right here when the stephen Ate Smith Show. That for more in a minute. Welcome back to stephen A. Smith Show right here over the digital It was a YouTube and of course iHeartRadio. Let's get to some of the quick hitters I told y'all about before we get on out of here. Okay, first things up, call Anthony Towns potentially coming to the New York Knicks. Likely coming to the New York Knicks. That's where I'll want to start, because obviously it's a surprise blockbuster that was announced Friday night. The Knicks acquired Call Anthony Towns from the Minnesota Timberwolves in exchange for Julius Randall and Dante DiVincenzo, along with picks and all of this other stuff. Who cares. Here's the interesting thing about all of this. Both sides win, Both sides win. You're Julius Randall. Love you, love your durability, Appreciate all you did for the city of New York. I'm gonna miss you personally. It would have been nice to see you with the rest of the crew, considering you wasn't their healthy when they made their run through the Eastern Conference players before losing the Game seven in the Eastern Conference Finals last year. But Julius Randall needs the ball. The problem is Jalen Brunton has the ball, and a lot of people looked at it and said that marriage ain't gonna necessarily work, particularly when you picked up Michel Bridges from the Brooklyn Nets. You still got Josh Hart and the rest of the crew. What you're gonna do with that? Ogn Nanobi, but will call Anthony Towns. You got a twenty two to ten player who shot forty one percent from three point range last season, who's a career thirty nine percent shooter from three point range. Okay, a former three point shooting champion, all right? In the All Star festivities, this brother ken ball durability is a question mark. He didn't have the greatest playoff performance, no doubt. But when you consider the fact that he's six ' ten and can light it up from outside from three point range, and you add that dimension to a heart two on ananobe two a Jalen Brunton. The New York Knicks right now are solidified as a top three team in the Eastern Conference and obviously arguably top two because I think they could beat Philadelphia. Philadelphia would still be the favorite, but that don't mean the Knicks can't take them. So I like that. And in case of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Rudy Gober and Karl Anthony town is not the ideal match made in heaven. Julius Randall and Rudy Gober could be because Julius Randall could hit some shots from the outside. He's streaky. He definitely has a power game to take it off the dribble inside and finish at the basket. You got that with ant Man, and you got the Vincenzo coming off the bench or even playing with you playing a law outside Anthony Edwards. You got a shooter. That is what Minnesota was lacking last year. Okay, I'm looking at Minnesota right now, who was in the Western Conference finals last year, and I'm saying to myself, wait a minute, ant Man with a shooter, with a power player like Julius Randall, with Rudy Gobn, your defense not being compromised. I like this deal for Minnesota as well. So I think it's a good thing. I just want to say that. But I'm all about my knicks. I'm all about my knicks, and I've always wanted to call Anthony Towns. I'm sorry to see Julius ran to go, even more sorry the Vincenzo's going because I love him, but I love called Anthony Towns. In the New York Nick uniform, right, Leon Rose Worldwide, West, Way to Go, Fellas, Way to Go, Another quick hit, A quick hit, A number two takes us to college football with Deon Sander's prime timeAs the prime time himself and the Colorado Buffalo's dominated dominated. You see a forty eight to twenty one on Saturday. Story of the game was Travis Hunter, though, who's quickly become my favorite to win the Heisman. Hunt, who plays both ways, had non cats for eighty nine yards and a key interception on defense in the third quarter of this game. UCF was not only predicted to beat Colorado, there were more than twelve point favorites, and instead they got their ass kicked. Colorado showed us a running game for the first time. We know what Shud Door Sanders could do from the quarterback position. But this brother, Travis Hunter is special. You see the numbers right there. Forty six receptions, five hundred and sixty one yards all right, got about six touchdown catchers okay, sixteen tackles, two interceptions on the year. The brother is special. He's a shutdown corner. Plus he's an all world wide receiver. He could play special teams for you if you need him to do that as well. What is it that he cannot do on the football field. We don't know. We don't know because he's that special. I want to state this for the record, ahead of Jalen Milroe for Alabama, ahead of anybody else you can think of, Carson Beck included at Georgia, Travis Hunter should be the leading candidate for the Heisman as of right now. They gotta continue to win. Now the camp fall off the wagon like they did last year and losing sixth straight and seven they the last eight games to eighth the end of season. But if they continue to win football games, Travis Hunter and he continues to play this way, he's gonna win the Heisman. He's gonna win the Heisman. And oh, by the way, Primetime Dion Sanders was going to be coach of the year. Remember they were rejected that Colorado was gonna finish like an eleventh place. They four on one. Right now, they win games, they keep winning, and they get to a ball game. Primetime gonna win Coach of the Year and he will have deserved it. Let's be very clear on that. Let's stay in college football for another quick hit of a quick hit the number three. Y'all see Alabama versus Georgia on Saturday night. Y'all see that game. It lived up to the hype as Alabama held the lead for most of the game. Georgia, who is trailing thirty to seven at halftime twenty eight to nothing. Initially storm Back took a thirty four to thirty three league. Well, they held that league for thirteen seconds. Thirteen seconds. That's because on the very next play, quarterback Jalen Milroe hit freshman Ryan Wins for a seventy five yard touchdown catch where he managed to lose two defenders to the end zone for the spin, catching it going this way, spinning to his right and scampering down the right sideline to take the lead for good and propel Alabama Alabama. Obviously that happened. That put him up forty one to thirty four, and that was the game. The kid, Ryan Williams is seventeen. He's seventeen, seventeen years old. Seventeen. Now, if you're looking at Georgia consecutive regular season wins forty two snap, twenty eight straight regular season SEC wins snap, no big deal because when they lose, they usually lose to Alabama. But that was under Nick Saban. Now I'm high on Kaitlin de bull. I appreciate what I've seen from him, but damn it. I feel a lot differently that they had lost this game, because a Nick Saban team would not have lost a twenty eight to nothing lead, they would not have lost the thirty to seven half time lee and had found themselves trailing thirty four to thirty three before that. Miraculous played between Milroe and Williams, but nevertheless, a win is a win. They handled their business. Milroe was sensational in the first half and finished the job when it was called upon him. Finished the job because their offense got quiet for like six straight possessions. But that's neither here nor dead when the outcome that is what the outcome ended up being. Our last quick hitter takes us to the WNBA, where the Las Vegas Aces played their semi final playoff game against the New York Liberty last night. The Aces were dominated for most of the game by Brianna Stewart. I don't know what the hell she was on, hitting three point shots, dribbling the ball, get to the basket, dancing around people. She was sensational. Finished with thirty four points, five rebounds, four assists. Reading MVP League MVP Asian Wilson finished with twenty one points. For the Aces. Spike Lee, who's in the tennis for the Liberty, was seen talking trash to ASA's guard Kelsey Plumb, who finished with twenty four points. We'll see what happens in game two. Here is my only thinking. I root for the Liberty cause I'm New York all day every day. Here is the issue. I don't wanna talk too much cause that might piss off Asia Wilson. We know who this woman is, we know what she could bring to the table. We know she's a league in VP. She's spectacular, she's the best player in the world. And Brianna Stewart looked like the best player in the world yesterday. She busts there living. You know what, I don't know how conn the Asia Wilson is gonna take to that. I kind of look at this and say to myself, oh damn, you mighta woke up the lion right there. But that kind of performance. So I ain't gonna talk. But I was very, very happy to see the Liberty do what it did. Spike Lee, my brother, when you talk trash to the opposition, that usually doesn't work for us. New York teams might wanna pipe it down just to touch, just to touch pretty please. On a far more serious note, before we get to break, I wanna take time to pay tribute to a legend we lost today in the world to basketball. The NBA announced this morning that Hall of Famer the one and only did Kenba Mutumbo passed away after a battle with brain cancer. He was fifty eight years old. But Tumbo was the league's first global ambassador for the game. He was also a humanitarian who loved what basketball did for communities around the world, including his native Democratic Republic of Congo. I knew to kem Ba mctumbo personally. I covered him during this couple of years in Philadelphia when they went to the NBA Finals in two thousand and one. If you recall, Theo Ratliff started off the season as their center. He was six or nine and an extraordinary shot blocker. But he wasn't somebody who'd end up being a four time Defensive Player of the Year and finishing the top three in Defensive Player of the Year voting seven times in his career, like to Kemba mc tumble had been and was. No matter what the Kambae Mu Tumble was as a perse as a player, it's nothing compared to what he was as a person. Knowing him personally, he was simply an angel, one of the nicest human beings you'd ever want to meet in your life. I have never, ever, in all my years of covering professional basketball, heard anyone say a negative word about the Cambae Mu Tumble. He was that beautiful of a person. What a wonderful guy he was. I wanted to take a moment to share a little story with y'all because I used to teach him about this all the time. He was an elite defensive player, but offensively challenged, and I used to get on them because he would throw up the hook shots all the time. It was an ugly looking hook shot, sometimes winning, sometimes it didn't. He was seven to two after all, and I remember one time I went to and talked to him about the hook shot. He said, Steve, Steve, Kareem Kareem. I said, don't you ever say that publicly? Ch you ever utter those words out of your mouth public He was trying to say, compare it to the sky hook of Kareem abdu Jabal, And then he just laughed at affectionate, beautiful laugh that he had all the time. Letting me know that he was just joking that he would never ever try to compare himself to k the great Kareem abdu Jabal when it came to that sky hook. But he was just teasing me about it or what have you. But we always joked about it. Every time that I saw him, I knew he was ill. I had no idea he was that ill. And when I heard the news this morning, I, like I imagine most people in the NBA circles, shed a tear because what a wonderful, wonderful human being he was, and what an incredible human being the world of basketball has lost the great to kim Ba mc tumble, the one and only to kem Ba m Tumble. My sincereous condolences to his family and his loved ones everywhere the basketball world mourns an incredible, incredible loss. Today forming back to Stephen ex Special right here of the digital it was of YouTube and of course iHeartRadio. Want to get to the latest in the federal sex trafficking and racketeering case against Sean Diddy Combs. According to his attorney, did He who's now off suicide Watch, believes he's innocent of the chargers, which could land him in federal prison for the rest of his natural life. In fact, the attorney, Mark Agnifilio said in a recent appearance on a TMZ documentary that did he will refuse to take a plea bargain in the case. The lawyer also says did he plans to use the case to inspire others federal prosecution and he wants to show his family that he's not who the Feds are portraying him to be. Really well, let me just say this. There's a video, you know. I mean when you make a statement like that, Okay, you know, Oh, the sex trafficking, Okay, there's plausible deniability. They got to prove your innocent until proven guilty. The racketeering they got her. You're innocent until proven guilty. Treating bad boy or entertainment as if it's a prostitution ring for crying out loud, Hey, you gotta prove all of that. But when you say that, I just want my family and everybody to know I'm not who the Feds portray me to be. What about what the video portrayed you to be. Cassie Ventura a hotel, the hallway, you running down there, and the towel, have butt naked before grabbing a thrown her to the ground, kicking her, hitting her, throwing a vase at her. Number all of that, that's not the exact quote that the attorney should have came out with. Let's just say that that's number one. Number two talk about suicide watch. Supposedly, they usually put you on watch because obviously, getting incarcerated is usually a shock to the system, particularly with well known figures who live in affluent life and are accustomed to having means and suddenly the gravity of being in a completely different situation is striking to the emotions, the nerves, et cetera, et cetera. But here's the bottom line. None of this really really matters at this point. I know we're gonna bring up the Jeffrey Epstein's in the world and how he died in a prison cell. I know the conspiracy theories that have been out there about how he was harmed as opposed to harming himself, even though the official record says he harmed himself and he committed suicide in the end. When you look at Diddy, the FEDS are clearly after him. But the question still remains, are they willing to make a deal so they could get him to dime out others. When we look at sug Knight and what sug Knight said, he talked about did he potentially diming out others? And how the Feds ultimately would want that to happen. I can't imagine that defens ain't gonna want that to happen, considering all the people that have attended did he parties that have attended did he after parties that were considered his friends in a circle, his close confidence. But we also got to pay attention to this too. What the industry portends, what the industry indicates, it's all about. See, these are the kind of moments where stuff can come back to haunt you. People want to sit up there and summarily dismiss oh you using incendiary rhetoric or misogynistic rhetoric or whatever the case may be. In your music and your lyrics have no kind of impact, sure in most instances, until you're in the court of law and they get to use stuff against you. Because when they're making the case against you, and they're salivating for witnesses, and it's salivating for evidence to further incriminate you, to make their case, particularly when you're the Southern District of New York, which we had Elie Honik, a CNN legal analyst, come on this show and say has a record that betters eighty percent plus in terms of their conviction rate. You got yourself in a bind. And that's the situation involving did he right now? So being on suicide Watch? Off suicide Watch? Okay? Those are storylines. Is he there to be gotten by the feds or do they want to utilize him to get even more people? That remains to be seen. But in the end, he wasn't. He was denied bail not just once but twice. And this is the person that contributed heavily to the Democratic Party and you're wondering where where are the connections now? Who is there to help them? Did everybody run away? And if so, why? Because the belief is there's a strong level of guilt attached to it. Now a court of Lord will prove it. But when you consider that a man is worth or over a half a billion dollars and was very politically conscientious in his own right, as an election draws near, with some of the connections, one with surmise he has, and still nothing seems to be able to be done to help him at this particular moment in time. It does appear to be a very very very bad situation. Suicide watch or no suicide watch, one way or another, it's looking more and more daunting with each passing day that he's ever going to see freedom again. I don't know. If the man is guilty, he should be in jail. If he's not guilty, I hope that he's not in jail. It just looks very, very bad and very daunting right now. Hell, if we can sit up here and say it looks bad for Mayor Eric Adams of New York City, and that's just for taking stuff, allegedly taking stuff from a Turkish government, then we can't sit up here and act like it doesn't look considerably bad for Pe Diddy. Speaking of bad looks, I want to get up for this one because I want to talk about this next subject. Standing up, Okay, before we get to the tweets, I want to touch on the ongoing beef between Cardi B and Offset amid this second divorce. Excuse me, I don't usually go here. It's not my thing talking about people's private lives and all that other stuff, But damn it, they putting that stuff on front street. They are publicly feuding with one another, accusing each other of infidelity as they try and sort out their divorce. In fact, Carti accused her strange husband of blowing up her phone, trying to make her jealous over him moving on from her, etc. Either way, it's a public feud that I believe should still remain behind closed doors. This is just me. Y'all don't know anything about offset. Don't listen much to Cardi B. I know they're both incredibly popular. Cardi B is that girl. You know, she got a strong following, the whole nine. I'm not here to judge anybody. All I'm trying to say is this, At some point in time, could y'all keep your business to yourself? See ladies and gentle masters. Some point in time we got to ask ourselves this question, why the hell get married? Is it just me? I mean, if I got to sit up there and worry about my wife or my husband telling our business to the masses, why bother? Now, I'm not gonna assume what some cynics assume. Oh, they're just doing this for publicity, because obvious. People are gonna talk about it. It's gonna increase their following, it's gonna increase their cachet. In a social media strategy, They'll get more clicks, they'll get more likes, they'll get more followers, they'll monetize it. Blah blah blah. I ain't thinking like that, because I'm thinking they're already successful enough. They're already big time enough individually as well as a couple. I'm not going that route. I'm simply making a point. Damn ladies, Can you join me? Fellas? Can you join me? Black, White, Hispanic Asian, Native American, Jews, Catholics, Christians hate this? Can everybody join me? By simply saying, there are certain things that are just none of anybody's damn business. Why must you be out in public telling everybody what the hell's going on in your marriage? Who you screwing around with is your business? Who you not screwing around with is your business? If y'all hooking up with one another, Hell, there are some marriages that have open relationships. I got news to you that is still youall business. It's nobody else's. I can't understand for the life of me, how people get so caught up in spreading it. I can understand people talking about folks who put their business on front street. That's father, that's for the back page of the front pages, the gossip columns, and all of that stuff in between. What I don't understand is how people can stand on an altar, stand before God or whoever your God is, swearing to love one another, to be there for one another through richard, for poor, in sickness and in health until death do us part, and just throw it out the window because you're pissed at each other, and as a result, the default position is to engage in humiliation and call one another out to offset and CARDI B I'm not judging y'all based only. Actually, ain't none of my deam business. I'm simply saying, it's none of my dead business. There's none of anybody's business. Why tell the world on each other? Why do that, especially when kids are involved, Because one day the kids are gonna grow up and they're gonna read about what mama said, and they gonna read about what daddy said about each other. I got news for you. When it ate publicized and a kid witnesses two parents talking like that to one another with no one around, it could be potentially damaging. We're all guilty of it, parents, but had sometimes sometimes kids hear that and we got to deal with the fallout for that. Imagine if it's public, how exponentially worse that is? Can we just check all you fight? Do whatever you want. I'm only saying, keep your business your business. That's all I'm saying. I ain't saying anything else other than that. Let's go to some of the other tweets before I get on out of here, please, or some of the tweets, because that wasn't a tweet at Big Ma'am twelve Stevin Nate Smith, I'm in a heated debate about greatest cereal of all time. I personally think it's cinnamon toast crunch because it brings an elite level of crunch, not too sugary, not too bland. Damn they're perfect. Well damn it. If it's cereal, why not be sugary? You know you're talking to wrong, brother. You know I'm gonna tell you crunch berries. You know That's what I'm gonna tell you, right, sugar corn pops too. Can't sleep on that now, you and I gotta tell y'all something. I gott tell yourself. This is very very important. I bring this up. You know what, cereal. I don't like cereals that get soggy too quick. When the cereals crunch, I know that you pour some milk on it, it's gonna get a little soggy. But some get soggier quicker than others, and some are more soggier than others. I don't like that, except with Captain crunchberries. That's why I love Captain crunch and Captain crunchberries more than all of them, because even when it gets a little soggy, it's delicious. It's delicious. It's it's delicious.
Now.
The sugar cor pots, you gotta eat quickly. You have a sense of honeycomb's to you. Gotta eat quicker. You can't eat it. You can't pour the milk into it and then wait ten minutes to start. Can't even wait five minutes, damn it, barely a minute. You got to get right up in there and get it when it's a little crunchy, so you can feel a few The true flavor of the cereal fruit loops ain't bad either, all right. But if you're gonna have a cereal. You're gonna spend some time eating cereal unless you're trying to eat wheaties or something real, real, healthy. Any sugary cereal that you eat, it might as well have a lot of sugar cheating. Anyway, you gonna do it, do it right. Answer to this question is Captain Crunch Beveries second on the list. Sugar corn Pops, fruit Loops ain't far behind. I would say tricks, but tricks truly offer kids. Okay, it truly is. Anyway, let's get to the next tweet. Please let me get it at more thirty three. Game its right? Steven A. Smith? Is it's too early for Christmas decorations to be in stores? You know, normally I would say yeah, but I toobia his approaching. It's just there s a way. Not only that, shopping has become too much of a headache. People don't know how to act. You don't know how people are in stores. You're saying stuff is on the shelves one minute, the next minute is gone. Get what you can when you can get it. If you can buy Christmas decorations now so you don't have to shop in December when the stores are crowded.
Do that?
Do that? So I would say it's not too early. Once upon a time it was, but times have changed, so I'm gonna say that's no longer the case. Let's get to the next tweet. Please let me get to me. This is the last one at red Lee? What is it? Lee? Eight ng whatever lying or whatever? Lining l I the number eight N I N G right, Steven A. Smith. If you could only eat from only two fast food change for the rest of your life, which ones that you choosing? Very interesting? You bring that up because, believe it or not, I had this dilemit the other day. Not proud of myself. I think I'm looking good, I'm in better shape, I'm feeling healthy. I've sort of refrained from most of these foods, but dammit, my taste budds have a memory, and when stuff tastes good, I don't forget. Now, I would tell you this is a very, very, very tough question. Now here's what. We gonna x out. We gonna x out Taco Bell, we gonna x out Subway, we gonna x so out Domino's Pizza. Even though my friends used to teach me said I used to look like annoyed. Remember the annoyed. The character for the Domino's pizza is annoyed, my boy Mark, and be like, no, duh, yes, my man Mark Turner used to call me that, right, still does to some degree. Starbucks. I got that, but that's really for the coffee and the blueberry muffins, not really much else for me. Okay, So it comes down to the Big four for me, Giboto, I mean, that's not me. That's just not my style. Not knocking any of these for other people. That just ain't my style. And this would tick tattoe. This was bam, be out right there, bam all three Taco Bell, Domino's pizza of course, someway. I told you Starbucks will going there. It would come down to this four. It would be Burger King, it would be McDonald's, it would be Chick fil A, and it would be KFC. Now here's where it gets tough. KFC and their original wings are delicious. I kept to confess. I have to confess the issue though, is it's not as healthy as Chick fil A and Chick fil A's nuggets with the honey mustard is dead. It's close enough, right. Here's why I would give Chick fi Led the edge over Kentucky because you gotta have something with chicken in them. I would take Chick fil A over Kentucky Fried Chicken because the only thing I want from them is the original wings. Here, it could be the chicken, it could be the chicken nuggets, but the fries that come with the nuggets, the waffle fries, I gotta give Chick Filater edge over that. So I got to give it. I never thought I'd picked some Chicken over KFC, but it's true. I gotta go with the Chick fil A nuggets with the honey mustard. Okay, now we get to the burgers. You got McDonald's, you got Burger King. Lazy gentlemen is another tough one, but I'd have to go with Mickey D's. Here's why. The cheeseburger, the double cheeseburger, to wop all that stuff that's Burger King, right. I personally think Burger King's fries are awful. Awful. McDonald's fries are the best in the business. I mean, they're fries between them and Chick fil A. The fries. There's a couple of ladies in the studio about to talk with me for a few minutes. They nod in their head. They agree with me. They know I know what I'm talking about. They know I know what I'm talking about, all right, So you got the fries right here, right, But can we definitively say that anything is better than the Big Mac as a burger. I don't know if we can. Don't ask to kill O'Neil. He ate them for breakfast. I ask him to. He knows Big Mac is the joint. All right. So you got the Big Mac, you understand. You got the chicken sandwiches. You've got. They're double burgers, they're single burghers, they're quarter pounders with cheese. But the real thing is their fries are significantly better than Burger King's. So I would tell you in the order, it would be McDonald's Chick fil A, KFC, Burger King top four for me. But to pick one the top two, it would be McDonald's in Chick fil A because of the fries and the range that they have in other categories. That's just the truth. Got to get on out of here, ladies and gentlemen. I'm glad y'all join me. I hope y'all enjoyed the show. That's it for this edition of the Stephen Natesmith Show. I'll be back with you in a couple of days. Until next time, everybody, piece of love.
