It’s Day Two of that Republican convention, which will focus tonight on public safety.
Former president Trump, now the Republican nominee for a third time, is expected to return to the convention hall again tonight.
No huge surprise there, he has in the past made an appearance on every day of his nominating conventions, so the word we are getting is that he is likely to be back in the building again tonight, presumably with his running mate JD Vance alongside him.
Tonight’s program will be all about “making America safe once again,” that’s the theme, with a focus on how the Trump-Vance administration would bring down crime and close the border to undocumented immigrants.
