It's no secret that long after wildfire flames die out, California communities and waterways near burn scars feel the impacts for years after.
But a new study is looking into how this vicious cycle of post-fire erosion is ramping up across Northern California and causing a significant amount of soil loss, which not only spells trouble for homes and roads, but also our reservoirs.
