View descriptionShare

On the show today…

Against all odds, the 2021 Academy Awards went ahead this week with an in-person awards ceremony and a red carpet. But amongst the glitz, glamour, and awkward acceptance speeches, were some powerful moments that will end up in the history books.

So from the red carpet relationship that made our hearts flutter, to an actress who rewrote her narrative so no one would notice she’d just clocked up the most Oscar losses in history, we dissect the best and worst moments from Hollywood's biggest night.

Plus, the Oscars finale featured one of the biggest gambles in awards show history and it really didn't pay off. One simple step could have saved the whole night
