Colac Otway Shire Council says residents disposed of 29 tonnes of green waste in 2024 — up from around 15 tonnes the year before.

Matty Drayton finished runner up, with Michael Koroneos leading the goalkicking.

In the Open Netball Sophie Hinkley was the winner with Lara Taylor runner up.
==========================================================================In other CDFNL Best and Fairest results Eliza Cahill has taken out the Colac Imperials A Grade best and fairest while Brodie Stephens topped the football count.

At Irrewarra-Beeac, Mitch 'The Bull' Thornton won the football count while Emmy Frith won A Grade.

At Birregurra Cooper Handley claimed the senior football best and fairest while Bec Dendle won the count in A Grade.

And for Lorne, Oscar Coutts won the football best and fairest while Rikki Van Germet and Leigh Potter won A Grade
