At Mothers Beach, crews are reinforcing the seawall with cranes and excavators, a project expected to take around two weeks depending on tides.
========================================================The weekends stormy conditions saw Aireys Inlet CFA undertaking a dramatic Canine cliff face rescue.

A dog was rescued after becoming stranded on a cliff during stormy conditions.

Aireys Inlet CFA, Fire Rescue Victoria, the SES, and high-angle specialists from Geelong worked together to reach the dog.
========================================================Families in the Barwon region are set to benefit from faster emergency care, with new funding for Barwon Health to expand inpatient capacity and support Hospital in the Home programs.

The $4.4 million investment is part of a broader $50 million state-wide initiative to reduce ambulance ramping, improve patient flow, and help paramedics return to the road more quickly.
