Corangamite CMA's Sustainable Agriculture Facilitator Karen O’Keefe says a free film night will be held in Cobden on October 10, featuring a screening of Greenhouse by Joost Bakker and local grazing boxes.
==============================================================Colac’s Bluewater Leisure Centre will come alive on today for the brand-new Kids Festival.

Families can enjoy music, sport, craft, swimming and more, with entertainment from The Mik Maks, a DJ Dance Party, the Melbourne Renegades, plus food trucks and activity stations inside and out.

Lake Purrumbete boat ramp is almost ready for reopening.

Road clearing and resurfacing work is complete, and the boat ramp and turning circle have been cleared and resurfaced. 
==============================================================An historic Noorat butter factory is being transformed into accommodation for agricultural workers in south-west Victoria.

The Glenormiston Butter and Cheese Factory, will become 13 dwellings, including family homes, studio apartments and shared dorm-style housing for seasonal workers.
==============================================================The State Government is backing more road safety upgrades for south-west Victorian communities, with grants available to councils to help reduce crashes and improve local roads.
==============================================================AND IN SPORTIt's awards season for the Colac Otway Rovers with individuals celebrated for their 2025 season.
Jared Holt was the Division 1 best and Fairest winner with Danny Hegarty runner up.

Sandi Bowen took out the clubs inaugural women's best and fairest.

While Lucas Paiva won the Division 2 count and Jacob Stannard won the Division 3 count.
==============================================================The Colac Braves have wrapped up there successful senior season with individuals celebrating awards.

The Division 2 MVP went to Brendan DeLorenzo with 34 votes, followed by Brad Egan on 23, and Josh Hay on 13.
