It follows four illegal openings of the estuary to the ocean in just over a month, with the third opening resulting in a fish death event, which was investigated by Environment Protection Australia.
======================================Lorne Police have confirmed that two thieves who allegedly stole from Lorne's Foodworks have been arrested and will attend Geelong Magistrates court at a later date.

It is alleged the two suspects stole a bottle of bourbon, and a cancer fundraiser tin.
======================================A House recently built in Yuulong, along the Great Ocean Road, has been nominated for a state recognised architecture award.

The house which was built in a designated flame zone was initially deemed unbuildable, was designed by Kerstin Thompson architects and has been put forward for the 2025 Victoria Architecture Awards.
======================================AND IN SPORTA pair of Premiership captains will leave the Colac District Cricket Association next year to play for Winchelsea.

Bill Johnston Medallist from Alvie Jarrod Groves, and Multiple team of the year member, in City United's Shane Currie will depart the Colac Association for 2025-26.======================================In the Colac District's Good Friday football fixtures, Alvie were 12 point victors against the Colac Imperials.

While Lorne won the Coastal Cup by 63 points against Apollo Bay.
