That's when New York punk band Blondie changed the future of dance-pop with their album 'Eat to the Beat', ZZ Top were leaning into the punk influence with their 'Degüello' album, and Roger Waters was viewing the year through the lens of his high-concept 'The Wall' album with Pink Floyd.
