Food insecurity is not fun, especially if others depend on you. We have some friends that for the holidays, they always make backpacks with food supplies and toiletries that they then hand to people in a situation of homelessness. We like to contribute to their efforts every year. But there are people who do this every day! That is the case of Ahndrea Blue. For the last 13 years she’s been running Eloise’s Cooking Pot, the largest food bank in Pierce County. So big, they serve around 70,000 people a month.
