The Freedom Education Project Puget Sound provides a rigorous college program in prison to create pathways to higher education after women are released from prison. To talk about this program, we invited Dr. Tanya Erzen, Associate Professor at the University of Puget Sound, and Director of the Freedom Education Project Puget Sound, and Paris Coulter, who participated in the Freedom Education Project Puget Sound program while in prison at the Washington Corrections Center for Women.
