Chapter 1: Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland‘s Budget 2021 plan to deal with the historic deficits created by COVID-19 spending are raising concerns from Conservatives that the targets are not clear enough.

Chapter 2: The province’s COVID-19 case numbers and hospitalization and ICU capacity levels released this afternoon continue to be of great concern to BC Nurses’ Union president Christine Sorensen, who says nurses are at a breaking point as they work through this third wave.

Chapter 3: The Liberal government will need the support of at least one other political party in order to pass its budget bill and avoid a federal election. But a key ask from the NDP is missing from the budget document: a wealth tax.

Chapter 4: Early yesterday, many Rogers customers (which includes Fido & Chatr) experienced service disruptions all over the country. Even our show had technical difficulties due to the outage. This caused many on social media to voice their displeasure in the telecommunications giant, and to further push for more competition in the telecommunications industry.
