The community of St. Cloud is growing more diverse, and a comedian native to that city will be back in town to host a celebration of that growth.  Comrade Tripp previews the event happening September 28th.

Anytime you can work with people to make change happen in the community the impact grows exponentially - so we talked to Mary Lockhart Findling about working together in an effort towards safety within the Autism community and ensuring parents that their child is safe and cannot wander off. Also Sheletta chats with a caller who is one of many on the mission to spread the word about these locks that keep these children safe. Then we talked to Dr. Quint Lester about his path to dentistry and being a Black dentist creating an inviting environment in dentistry where many are too scared to go see their dentist!

Not many like going to the dentist, but Sheletta invited on Dr. Quint Lester who has created an inviting atmosphere with his dental work, discussed his "why" in becoming a dentist but also has taking that leap of faith and started his own dental clinic.  

Many children who struggle with Autism have faced the dangers of wandering outside the home and Sheletta will be attending an event on October 5th to help raise awareness with this issue and provide locks to those in need of keeping their child and family safe within the home. So she is partnering with Mary Lockhard Findling of United Community Action Partnership to ensure those people get the help they need so she joined the show to shed further light on this issue and talk more about this upcoming event as well!

Making a difference in businesses and the community are what we talked about this hour with Sheletta being nominated in October at the Upper Midwest Emmys in Prior Lake at the Mystic Lake Event Center - so we invited the Executive Director of the Upper Midwest Emmys, JJ Murray on the show to talk about the impacted Sheletta's production company has made and the importance of those aspiring video producers using their talents for the good of community!
