This is season seven of The Secret Place - Faithful Presence.

This season explores Jesus's response to the question; "What is the Greatest Commandment?" in Mark 12:29. His response summarizes all of God's commandments that have come before and depict God's success formula for human life on Earth.

In this episode of The Secret Place, Derek defines true love in the context of Mark 12. To be faithfully present for others in their needs, in the same way that you're faithfully present to yourself and your needs, is the greatest example and highest expression of true love. God links the love that we are to have for ourselves, with the love we have for others, so we know it is okay to look after ourselves.
