Sean Hannity welcomes pollsters Matt Towery and John McLaughlin to examine what went wrong for Republicans in the 2026 midterm elections. The discussion explores record voter turnout, declining Republican support among independents and Hispanic voters, and the party's struggle to communicate its economic agenda. Towery argues that Republicans need a year-round strategy to counter Democratic messaging, while McLaughlin emphasizes the importance of defining candidates and connecting policies to voters' everyday concerns. Sean also revisits Michigan Senator-elect Abdul El-Sayed's victory and the political divisions surrounding his campaign. Later, callers from across the country react to the election, debate Republican leadership and discuss the road ahead. Sean closes with his prediction that Democratic overreach could create a political backlash well before the 2028 presidential election.
