Last Friday, twenty nine year old New Orleans police officer father of two, Marcus McNeill, was shot and killed in the line of duty. Now. According to NOLA dot Com, McNeil and three other officers came upon something suspicious while patrolling an area in the city. When the officers then got out of their car, a gunman opened fire, shooting McNeil several times. Now. On Sunday, the New Orleans Saints had a home game against the Detroit Lions, and, disgustingly, during a moment of silence for officer McNeil, many Saints players remained kneeled in protest. Saints coach Sean Payton said kneeling was a miscommunication. No miscommunication. The NFL has completely lost control of their organization and their players are disrespecting the country, the flag, and those that have died to keep us safe. Thank you, Officer McNeil for your tremendous service.
