Former Brig. Gen. Don Bolduc served close to 6 years in Afghanistan as a special operations commander, and he did 10 tours of duty in Afghanistan after 9/11. He received five bronze stars and two purple hearts before retiring in 2017. He is now running for the Senate in New Hampshire.
