Victorian landholders are continuing to push back against the state government's new levy. 

The Victorian Farmers Federation want the Fire Services Levy to be paused, and it's development be referred to a parliamentary inquiry.

The main body representing farmers is welcoming a new Fuel Supply Taskforce.

Wholesalers have been restricting diesel supply into the regions, blaming the conflict in the Middle East.

The government says the taskforce will make sure fuel is able to get to where it's needed.
